If not Barry then it will be Livermore, he wont play Yacob or Field. Likewise he wont start Burke either so Phillips will remain in the side too. The only reason this will change is if Brunty has had more influence on the team selection after his comments but I think Pardew is too stubborn/arrogant to take advice/criticism on board.

My worry would be does Nyom have the fitness for R wing back? Yacob plays back of a central diamond with Greg and Brunt linking play forwards. Gibbs has been rubbish but this is an advanced role.

I think he is more weak than stubborn. He will dress it up as a positive (ie he is a flexible manager who listens to his players) but I have little doubt that Brunty's outburst will have forced his hand. I'm expecting us to set up 352 with Brunt starting.

I can see us getting a win here. The report of a heated row after the Huddersfield game at least shows that some of them are up for it and hopefully Pardew will listen.

We will certainly know before kick off - if he's switching system to give us more in the midfield then he's listened. I think he will.

However, I am still holding out for a late night date with both of the minogue sisters so my opinion is probably questionable.
