Yeah that's why I find Man City so boring to watch, most of the time it seems just they stroll around the pitchThe question is if Man City went at full intensity for the full 90 minutes, would they be any more successful. I doubt it, as the 'boring' bits are about keeping possession in the team, which means the opposition can't score.

Crystal Palace were a very good watch last night. So were Manchester United but for entirely different reasons. I know they've had bad luck with injuries but for large chunks of the game they were utterly dire. They couldn't wait for the final whistle. I'd have loved to have seen live video footage from that dressing room at full time.I didn't watch it, but sounds like I was wrong about Ten Hag. I think its a bit harsh picking on Swift. Some people like players to run around like headless chickens diving into tackles, and Swift is clearly not that type of player. He is slowish but he is one of the best players we have at linking the play with passes which lead to goal chances. He also has a good kicking technique which makes him dangerous from around 15-20 metres out, as well as from penalties. I can understand CC preferring Diangana in his position lately, as Diang's form has been good, but I think Swift still may have a crucial role in the Play-Offs.
No thought given to the likes of Swift who have let us down for months on end and no striker worthy of the name and no money spent, but still deeming our squad one of the best.
