Apologies if i have posted this in the wrong place admin team!

I have two tickets for an evening with Carlton Palmer on Friday May 20th.

Its at Hardwick British Legion, just off Junction 12 of the M5.

Its a Q and A, raffle, auction, bar, food and a 7.45pm start.

I am not able to go anymore, tickets cost me £60 but if anybody wants them they can have both for twenty quid.

If your interested direct message me, cheers.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Away Days
« on: November 27, 2017, 11:19:12 AM »
Bit of a strange one this so any advice welcome.

I have a home season ticket with my dad, i used to go to the odd away game years ago with family and a couple of mates, had some right good days out (seeing the 3-0 down to 4-3 win at West Ham will take some beating)

However over the years people stopped going away and i think i am missing out and fancy going again, few beers, bit of a sing, suffer the football, etc, etc so hoping for a bit of advice -

How hard is it to get tickets for away games, i have my eyes on Stoke on Dec 23rd?

Whats it like on the official coach travel? Are you able to go for a few beers before if you go with them?

I will be a billy no mates to start, i mix pretty well but do many people travel alone or on the coach alone and just mingle in?!

I am aware the above sounds a bit like a lonely hearts advert!

General Football & Sports / Albion vs Everton 1968 DVD - Help please!
« on: February 19, 2014, 05:05:14 PM »
Hi everyone

I brought my dad the Albion v Everton DVD for the FA Cup final in 1968 as a Xmas present.

The DVD is really good but it says on the case there is highlights of the 1954 FA Cup win and a special feature on Jeff Astle, however when you put it on, there is nothing about those things, just the menu which includes only stuff from the 1968 Cup Final! I am a bit rubbish with techology but even i can see that there is no option about the 1954 / Astle things to watch! Has anyone got the same DVD and if so is there some way you access the other bits? Any help appreciated!

On a side note, cracking DVD and i would urge any Albion fan who hasnt seen us win the cup (like me) to watch it and say afterwards you would choose staying in the league over winning a cup! Also its strange the after match interviews, they get all the players together and they all just pile in one by one, makes for good viewing!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Derek McInnes
« on: November 07, 2012, 10:24:49 AM »
Only a quick one but the bloke has just gone up in my estimation even more!

Apparently last night after the Blues game some Bristol City fans got back to their minibus and their tyres had been slashed and they were stranded, they went back to the ground and bumped into Derek McInnes and Scott Murray, told them what had happened and McInnes and Murray gave them £300 there and then to help them out.

Be nice for good things like that to be reported for a change instead of all the negativity that comes with football nowadays.

Really hope Macca sorts it out at Bristol City, i like them as a club but they are rubbish at the moment!

Just wondered if anybody had any positive experiences with Albion players - Lee Hughes brought me a pint about 12 years ago! (After the Bolton Play off game when we were 2 nil up, threw it away and drew 2-2, he was absolutely devastated when saw him that night and there was no doubting he was hurting as a fan as well as a player!

West Bromwich Albion FC / Mattock called up for England Under 21's
« on: October 04, 2011, 12:35:51 PM »
Just read that Joe Mattock has been called for the England Under 21's.

I hope this is another confidence boost for him, he was awful when he first came but he is still only a young bloke and i hope he is given another chance.

I got the impression reading some of Chris L comments of late that Mattock is pushing for the first team so maybe he isnt that bad! He is only young and could have a great career here, or he could fall by the wayside, lets hope he is given a chance either way.

Also Dawson and Mattock, we could have 2 of the 4 England Under 21 defence!
