Originally wanted Pearson, but after being reminded of his past man-management antics changed my mind to McInnes. He would provide a breath of fresh air through the club. However, I wouldn't be disappointed to see Potter given a chance as a close second. Like others have said it's time for a fresh change.

Not really though is it. It's based on where money is going and market movers. Granted it's founded on speculation but for Wilder to get cut by so much means substantial money must have gone on him. Definitely not lazy.
In this sort of market it would take very little money to shift prices. These market moves are not at all significant.

They got promoted then took a bit of time to adjust to the Premier League? With newly promoted clubs if they start the season well the momentum can carry them through for a while till they settle down to their level. If they start badly they often really struggle.

Ranieri did not build that title winning team.

never said he did, but he did manage them.

It would be good if we got the new man in charge before the season ends, that way he can assess the current rubbish sorry players and prepare for the new season.
It's easy to have faith in yourself and have discipline when you're a winner, when you're number one. What you got to have is faith and discipline when you're not a winner.

From the list I've gone for Graham Potter.

Really want to break away from the managerial merry go round.

Time for a fresh approach.

Mick McCarthy and Nigel Pearson are extensions of the PL merry go road albeit at Championship level. No thanks.

Dont get the love in for McInnes, Silva has done little to make me think he would be the right fit.
Appleton nailed on i reckon.

Likewise Dan, this would be a completely leftfield appointment and could go either way. I would be happy with that because if it did work, I think it could be very good for both the club and Graham. Time for a fresh approach as you say......

Went for Silva but there is no chance he'll come here.

Dean Smith would be my choice on that basis.

Really like the idea of Smith. Knows the league, plays decent football and although he isn’t an Albion fan he knows the area and probably ‘gets’ the fans.

I've gone without hesitation for Graham Potter. He is the most interesting, potentially exciting, 'different' appointment that we could make and it would certainly do wonders for our image and perception in the wider football world which has taken a hammering over the last few years. Alas, knowing the Albion, the very fact that he is interesting, exciting and different probably rules him off our shortlist straight away.

I'd be very surprised if he wouldn't leave them to come to us. Just a question of weather the club want him or not.

Dean Smith appealed to me at first. His teams do play a good brand of football and he's outside of the tried, tested, failed and stale. However, while I don't have the stats at hand I'm aware that Brentford have blown a number of leads this season. That could be down to any number of things which I'm not aware of. However, one of those factors may well be poor game management, something which I've had an absolute gut full of this season.

Pretty much aligned with you. Any of those 3 is fine with me, but Potter tops the list.

Both Smith and Potter are local lads, so would be more likely to settle here than the likes of Pearson and Bilic who would see us as a stepping stone.

I like Pearson but he is volatile. We need someone to stick around for 3 years. I voted Appleton as a safe pair of hands but Potter or Cook could be exciting. I've had a bet on Dean Smith but he could be a bit tippy happy and his win rate isn't great. Confused you will be.

Gone for Smith, edges it over Potter for me because he has proven he can build young, attacking and competitive teams on a shoe-string budget in both the Championship and League 1. Would like to see what he could achieve given quadruple the wage budget.

I'm also open to any manager outside the usual merry-go-round that deserves a chance at a bigger job, be that from the UK or abroad. Sick of the safety-first, PL experience approach we've had to managers and players over the last few years - it's left us without a first team player under the age of 27 ffs.

Voted potter, but would also have Mcinnes. Most importantly if we can get a young manager, he is given time by the board and fans.

Any of those 3 would be a disaster. Thank God you aren't on the board is all I can say.

A lot of assumptions on your part there, not least how do you know I'm not on the board?

Please substantiate your claim about the three candidates I have proposed.

Got previous links with us, could bring the relative success of Pearson with him but without the nonsense.

Mcinnes, Appleton ,Potter not for me.
