Goodnight god bless

Bad management for me tonight

New levels of bad. Reached levels I didn’t think possible, every single decision a disaster

Theres only 3 players in the bench over 20, doubt he's mates with the 8 other players!

Feels like Groundhog Day every season. Go out weakly at home and repeat next season. We should’ve held on and we give an absolute charity goal away. Frustrated.

When the loan signings depart, we have a bunch of youth players who look very good and will be given chance to step up if we are in the Championship league still

I agree that Harper has shown enough to get into a championship team next year but the others haven't. Field? Maybe. Leko? Not favoured.

They will not fill the gap of the retiring players and the loanees moving on.

A successful exercise in not going through. Ref and Bartley have cost us the game.

We weren't remotely bothered about going through, taking off 1st team regulars and bringing on kids tells the whole story.

Hopefully Kanu is out long enough for Montero and Murphy to make themselves indispensable.

Shame about the total lack of ambition even though I understand it.

Enjoyed seeing the kids play,  unlucky going down to ten.   Great heart till the legs went.  Now awaiting the deluge of negativity.

Brighton wanted it more than we did. By that, I don't mean the kids who played, but the management.

The young lads have been let down tonight by the more experienced lads.

Bartley is one of the worst defenders I've ever seen in the stripes.

Just don't understand the substitutions tonight. Woeful.

Gotta give it to the kids tonight...well done

Think trying to experiment with that back 3 again cost us, meant we used subs we needed later on

We just looked shattered at the end

I honestly don’t think we even wanted to be in the competition...but I did!

Think there was some poor management tonight

All in all not a bad performance from the young lads just let down by the 'experienced' heads. Harper and Field stood out, Tulloch showed flashes and put himself about, Rogers maybe a step too early for the lad but no excuses for the sitter he missed.

Complain all you like about subs and game management but it was obvious neither team wanted to win and it was great to give game time to the young lads who took a premier league team to extra time.

We await the explanation.  Can only presume niggles and taken off as precaution.

Took a Prem side to extra time only losing when down to 10 men. Some strange subs but can't legislate for injuries.
Proud of Harper, Field, Tulloch and Rogers, the future looks bright.
Bartley cack, just cack.
Bond better than Johnstone.

Kids did well again , in fairness to Darren he's done this in every cup game so was to be expected team wise.
Hope we haven't picked up too many injuries and that wretched 3 at the back doesn't return.
Harper stands out again but doesn't he tire quickly every game.

Fantastic to see the kids do so well. Harper excellent tonight I thought. Clearly we had no interest in risking our first team, yet we have potentially lost two or three to injury which is a bit of a nightmare.

If we don’t get promoted and we lose a lot of our first team then we have one hell of a youth team available to us.

Brave effort from the young lads Tulloch looks a good player with a bright future, shocking use of the subs again in game management is becoming a glaring issue and has cost us lots of points this season. I hope to god I don’t have to see Bartley in an albion shirt again utter waste of £4 million Swansea have had our pants down on that pub player is been kind.

Agreed, they guy is a complete liability. We looked good when the ball was no where near him. Very impressed with the kids. If they had one down to 10 men I would of expected Gayle to have come on but we will never know.
