Grant scored a decent goal for Cardiff yesterday, shame it's only number 6 for the season or something.

Very disappointing. I was hoping i'd be able to type a number 1, before the 6 and we might get a buyer.

Just season long loans for him and us now i guess for the next 2 seasons.

Caleb Taylor is back in action for Bolton. Here's hoping he has a strong end to the season following his injury and hits the ground running for us in pre season.

Faal scored on the weekend and again tonight. I think it makes it 13 for him this season

Last time BTA had a full season in League Two he got 11 goals. So what I think you’re trying to tell me is that Faal is twice the player already  ;D

;D This is the kind of maths/logic i have to deal with at work. I swear i spend a proper amount of my time trying to figure if people are winding me up or not.

On the topic of Faal, surely he's worth a 1+1 contract and bringing home to try next season?
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

Caleb Taylor was an used sub for Bolton last night.  Can we rely on him to be a suitable replacement for Bartley next season?

Faal and Taylor have to be in the squad next season at least as rotation options.

Lets hope that CC can coach him to fulfil his early promise.

Think Taylor is coming back from an injury too. Pretty sure at one stage it was said he would miss the rest of the season.

Real shame we didn’t get him out for the first half as he’s basically lost a year of first team football because of our bench and injury. With games this year he may well have come back ready next season

I had a beer with 2 Cardiff City season ticket holders yesterday. They were assessing their team and rated Grant as one of their better players and they hope he can stay but see it as unlikely.

He's not going to play under CC so i imagine we would consider any offer around a few million to save on wages mainly. Do Cardiff have that money though?

I think a lot might depend on what happens to the manager too. If he stays Cardiff may well put a bid in for Grant; if the manager goes then I'm sure we'll look to sell or loan Grant out again.

He's definitely not in Corberan's plans.

Is the Cardiff manager in danger of sack then? Mid table for them

AHH ok thanks. Well, hopefully someone buys him as he won't play under CC and his wages will just be a drain

No, and he wouldn’t play under any manager with any sense either. Simply not good enough.

He's obviously a big underachiever as far as the 6 year contract on relatively big wages goes and it's clear he doesn't figure in CC's plans BUT I'd say he probably is a championship standard player....it's just we expect more due to his deal.

Grant is certainly not of the standard of any side with promotion hopes . Low mid table to relegation strugglers is probably his level . So since we’ve signed him he’s managed one double figure season and 3 others ( including this season at Cardiff ) where he’s got no where close . Without doubt Slavs worst value for money signing for us .
