Disappointed to see Leko is spending most of his time on the subs bench not what we sent him on loan for.

It is disappointing. I gather that the Championship is now the 5th biggest league in the world financially. It's still a big step up going from our under 21s into a Championship side that's on a good financial footing. At least he's getting a slice of the real world and it should be obvious to him how hard he's going to have to apply himself to become a regular in one of the top two divisions.

apparently a few of the onloan guys have been training with us for the last week or so rather than with their loan clubs. I assume it is so Pardw can see who is staying and who is out on loan in January.

Been on 'One team in Bristol' site -  I think that the jury is out over Leko. Some really rate him, but others are identifying that he is playing with his head down and getting mugged on occasions. Apparently he was superb against the dingles, but not so impressive against others. Some think that he is simply not good enough.

Maybe  he'slacking in the right temperament he started well but has spent most of his time since on the subs bench,it's down to him to force his way in the team if he is going to have a career in the top divisions.

Having watched BC beat Man Utd, I can understand how difficult it has been for JL to get game time.

Good to hear, I think he's had a bit of an injury while he's been there and managed to get himself sent off as well so it's been a bit stop start. I gather he's one of the ones Pardew has had back to have a look at in training.

Think Wilson has impressed more than Edwards.

Time to give up on Campbell naybe, had numerous loan spells now and has never Impressed

Think it's a good move for both really. Fitzwater seems well regarded there after last season and it's a step up from league 2 for Wilson.

As said above a good move for both and we can evaluate them in league one. We must have incomings as it leaves us short on numbers for a long season.

Great move for both. I know when we have loaned players to Walsall in the past they have still trained with the Albion periodically so we can keep a closer eye on their development.

Surprised by this. Not Wilson, he needs another year or two, but I genuinely thought Fitzwater would play a part this year - albeit a bit part.

If Hegazi and Dawson stay, and we have Bartley too, the young CB (whoever that was - Fitzwater or the lad from Man City) was going to spend a lot of time on the bench.

As a club, who would we rather have sit on the bench, one of our young players or someone elses?

Guessing they must be confident of bringing someone in then.

I think he’s miles better off with a full season at Walsall than playing a bit part here. At best he’d get maybe half a dozen games and a few late tactical appearances when defending a lead.

Correct. If he gets 40+ games for them this year then we can either look at a season long loan in championship the year after (or if we fail to get promoted he will be ready for us to use at that level)

Wilson needed a step up so let's see how he fairs. Walsall have a small squad and not the biggest budget so you would think he has a good chance of game time.

I wonder if we're tempted to get Harper out there as well? Or possibly leko for 6 months see if we can get his confidence and form back- he has regressed of late
O Albion we love you

Great having Wilson and Fitzwater playing together, they will be comfortable as they know each other, they get a full season at league 1 level and it is better than being a bit part player here.

Really pleased with the news.
