Just a heads up there are plans of a protest outside the Villa shop in town around the same time. Rumours of a few Blues going to rile them up.

Might not happen but worth keeping your eyes peeled if you're around Birmingham this afternoon.

Loyal? The same man who walked out of Scotland after a couple of months in his own national teams job? The same man who's leaving his club after relegation, for their arch rivals? He did well finishing 9th, but he also got them relegated twice, and plays terrible, terrible football. How he managed to get them relegated after the wages they must have been paying for the likes of Hleb, Martins, and Bentley (also telling is how poor attacking players are for him) is something to wonder about.

You also have to wonder why exactly they don't want Hughes who is a way better manager, who plays better football. I thought Lerner had done well for them till this point, backed them well, but this is an extremely bizarre decision.

But he was with birmingham for 4 years, which in this day and age is actually a fair amount of time. His decision to leave was because of disagreements within the club. I think terrible football is a bit exaggerated. They lacked any attacking force, but then again cameron jerome and zigic aren't going to be made into goal machines anywhere these days.

If we had beat Newcastle at the end we would have had bragging rights.3 times today from 3 different Vile fans i have heard, well we still finished the highest midlands team again

Yes, thats been their 'counter argument' all week. But they need to face reality, they were aiming for top 6 ish and they finished 10th, we were aiming merely to survive and we finished 11th with only one point in it. They really do need to wake up and get over themselves
