It’s interesting how Grealish’s behaviour is considered one way on here, and Pereiras another. I wonder why that could be? Particularly when I suspect most neutrals would think the behaviour was quite similar in many respects.

It's nothing alike. Pereira genuinely gets booted everywhere.

He also does chuck himself around a bit

I wouldn't be surprised to see interest from the Premier League now, and weirdly he would go with my blessing.

He has been the one light in an otherwise dark spell post CoVID. Even today, he was the one man battling second half as the rest of the team bottled it.

A genuinely wonderful player. He deserves the premier league.

His sale will stop us being financially screwed next year at least.

Feel sorry for him having to try and carry this team. Good luck to him next season wherever he moves onto! We were blessed to have him even just for a season  :-[ :(

He needs to get out of this circus for his own good, I'll enjoy him for probably the next 3 games and then if a top team come in I'd be happy for him.

Look at some of the utter sh**e he has to put up with... He was literally coaching Townsend how to kick a ball at one point, then he looks up and sees a static Hal Robson-Kanu as his only forward pass. Neither of whom would start for Barnsley.

Agree completely. Fantastic player and a joy to watch. Should cut out some of the pettiness. Bids starting at £30m please.

He’s worth £25m in this market and if he has a good EPL season possibly more.

It’s a nice option to have now- a high quality player and a high value asset if we do have to sell one day.

Love Pereira and I hope he flourishes with us in the PL. That said I thought he was terrible tonight! But matters not a jot.

I’m looking forward to seeing what he can do in the top flight, particularly if backed up by a better central midfield and a good striker.

Not a winger though.

He'll be superb, with benefit of VAR, Premier League referees etc.

It will swing both ways. While on the whole he'll benefit from VAR and PL referees there are some antics from him that will get picked up that haven't in EFL.

Hasn't happened to Grealish who is far worse than MP for supposedly diving.

I think diving is only part of it for Pereira (which is less than Grealish), he reacts to situations (which Grealish doesn't) and does things which could get caught on VAR. Admittedly with more protection this will happen less, but it will still happen. Like I said, a positive on the whole to have VAR and prem refs but not a 100% positive.

It's all done, but he's on holiday.

I've no doubt at all once he's back they'll do a photo-shoot and all that. It was essentially done when he played his first 45mins after lockdown
Whenever things look bad, remember the Port Vale, Grimsby and Walsall days... not so bad now, eh?!

That's good for him. He can showcase himself in the Premiership. Boost his value and give himself that much self esteem. Well done that man. Long may he remain in the Premiership with us.

Reading that excellent report in the Athletic (thanks for sharing Gazberg) it is hard to believe we have permanently signed such an outstandingly talented player for a little over £8m. A player mentioned in the same breath as Cristiano Ronaldo and Neymar.

A brilliant coup by our recruiting team and well done them.

The loan jigsaw would be perfectly complete if somehow we managed to secure the ongoing services of Grady Diangana along with Krovinovic. (not sure how we stand with the latter)

If we can unearth a couple of similar hidden gems in the striking department, how good would that be.

Perhaps I shouldn’t say this but, I was impressed with Matheus’  “I belong to Jesus’ shirt displayed when celebrating - it confirms he is not only interested in himself and credit to him for that.
