I expect a win here, 1-0 would do me and a clean sheet. Maja with his first

Strange as seemed to have a decent pre season and was heavily involved. Should be a sub for Molumby after 75 when he inevitably has a yellow.

I like the 3 at the back as no pairing of our centre halves fills me with confidence, and you always feel there’s a mistake a game. But the the 2 in midfield with no link between them and the front 3 doesn’t work for me, Swift is wasted on the left, Wallace is non existent as per the last 8 months and BTA can’t hold the ball up to save his life.

I’d like to see a 3-4-1-2 on Saturday, Swift behind a front 2 of Maja & BTA. Wallace RWB and keep Phillips LWB. I’d like to think this would give us more options and control on the ball.

Blimey he’s been bad tonight, fell off a cliff quality wise since the new year. Covers some grass I’ll give him that but how many players have our fan base slated over the years for the same  ;D :P

I know I’m going to get slated for this and there are plenty of bigger issues still but blimey this guy is getting a free ride at the moment, apart from a ten yard press to the full back and crossing a ball over the head of our one CF I don’t know what he offers.

Blowed up for full time 90 seconds early then pretended he did for offside  :o

Everytime you see him on the TV he makes a glaring error.

Not sure why the loan repayment is on his head with the fanbase.

Many things do but it's Lai who will either repay or not, nothing to do with RG

Personally, not a fan - that's why going to the games is special.

Also would really hurt non league football IMO.

Staggered that Dyche is overall leader by some margin.

Plays a brand of football that notoriously WBA fans do not want to see - especially at Champo level.

Recruitment 95% British based, no thrills reactive football.

Everything we apparently want to move away from.

Would do a decent job no doubt but there would be grumblings at it, not sure that style of football wins enough games to get up.

Corberan by a mile for me.

Protest to East Stand directors' box would be fun  ;D

Or as the West Ham fan did take a corner flag and plat in on the centre circle  ;D

Definitely not ITK - chap I work with who has a contact believes mid-late afternoon announcement.

Been correct with movements before, we will see.

Hope he's right and I was Bruce in until last night.

Nice left foot and not scared to take the ball under pressure.

Just hope he's still decent the other way though.

I know I will be in the minority but can't see what changing the manager will do, been down this road a lot the last few years and after 3/4 months it'll be the new guys fault.

A lot of this squad are sheep, when it's going okay they can look decent, but when tough gets going they can't drag themselves out the mire.

Need a top sports psychologist more than anything.

And wow I'm 30 but Bartley last night must be the worst individual performance I've ever seen from a stripe.

Would look to start the game in a similar fashion to how we finished on Friday;

Button

TGH
Yokuslu
O'Shea
Townsend

Molumby
Swift

Wallace
Grady
Grant

BTA

Palmer, Furlong, Bartley, Livermore, Reach, Phillips, Zohore

Why anyone is feeling sorry for Steve Bruce is beyond me . Do we honestly think that he had no say in who came and went during this window ? He should have made sure that the required number of signings had been made before agreeing to those that went !

A naive view to say the least. No manager would sanction a player leaving who would be in a matchday squad without a player coming in to take their place numbers wise. Onamah wasn't even in the Fulham 18 for the League Cup defeat to Crawley and we still had to wait for Fulham to get their target before he was free to sign for us.

Mowatt and CR7 who would be adequate names in our matchday 18 were on a good whack for the Championship and their wages would account for 3/4 singings through our door - that's the theory anyway. Just because it didn't materialise is of no way a reflection on Bruce - he has to work with this mess now he won't look to make his job any harder.

If we signed Alzate and Onamah then i would've classed it as a good window.

If a striker came in on loan it would've been a brilliant window.

But for some paperwork last night it's turned out to just be embarrassing.

He doesn't have to play Livermore, Phillips or Reach but you can bet your sweet backside he will find a way for them to be involved every game

Not saying they’re the answer but what 3 alternatives do we have so they’re not in the 18?
