I would have given it to Foster but because hes been our best player for the last 4 games i will give it to Fortune on this occasion.Brunt gets it because of a couple of crosses for some.
I seem to recall we coped quite well without him on our winning run a few games back

Who actually votes at the game, sponsors? dont get me wrong Olsson didnt have a bad game but i was quite surprised he got the vote over some at the Hawthorns

I think the words were something about him being free, from Ipswich and being as big as a tree

We signed him from Ipswich,
He came on a free,
He'll stop you scoring,
He's big as a tree,
And his name is *clap clap* Gareth McCauley

To the tune of Glad all over.

The Smethwick were great but the rest of the ground were poor.

The video was too quick and too quiet though.

Maybe your idea would work dontaskmetochooseluv - if a prompt could get it started then it could continue over the years. I applaud the club for trying.

With this new stuff they are trying, i pray they dont start introducing something like that video when we score. Goal music or anything of the like is embarrassing

I think Yakubu and Dunn are naturally stocky blokes. I remember Dunn was fat a few years back but they've always been/always will look big. Paul Robinson, I'm not too sure about. His legs were massive, don't know if that was muscle or fat.

Funny you should mention the chatting Olsson's at the end and how you've frowned upon it.

I quite enjoyed the music free run out, give it a few games and people will realise they need to make their own noise.

I didn't even know the teams had started coming out, I looked at the video, laughed and then looked at the pitch and they were already walking out. It was only after a few seconds when I finally heard a roar and the Smethwick/Brummie belted out TLMS.

The problem with the Brummie/Smethwick is that one stand is one line behind the other.

Thought we played okay, some defensive lapses from McAuley (again) and passing was  sometimes poor. The free kick we had about 30 yards out that ended up with Foster was a shocker. Surely Brunt, Andrews or Dorrans could have had a shot?

Thought Dorrans had a great game, his free kick for Ridgewell's header was class.

Apart from Foster's double save and one he made in the first half I didn't think Blackburn looked like they could score. I thought Hoilett was well marshalled, he had the odd run but nothing really happened for him and Yakubu was poor. Most of their shots on target were like pass backs.

I'm amazed it was even 700 looked more like 200 to me. very poor support. Had to laugh at the West Brom's a sh*t hole song. At least they won't have to worry about visiting next season...unless we get drawn in a cup! They can enjoy such scenic beauties as Hull, Barnsley, Peterborough, Derby, Middlesboro and Wolverhampton!

Maf off the pace, obviously you wasn't at the game.Best player for me.
I didn't think we would win because i felt that they would have wanted it more so well pleased with 3 points and virtual safety.Lets play with less stress now please for the rest of the season. At 1-0 they could have easily been 3-1 up.Well done Foster for that.Praise to Dorrans too

MAF didn't really get involved all that much, especially the first half.  A couple of occasions spring to mind.   The first when Dorrans played him in inside the box but he'd turned his back on the game and was just walking.  That's schoolboy stuff to not turn away.

The other was when Odemwingie had the ball on the right by their touchline.  He looked to cross but there was no-one in the box.  He ran the ball back out and played in Jones who then looked to cross, and still MAF wasn't anywhere near the box.  He should have been there or arriving when Odemwingie looked up, to still not be there at all was a bit strange from the other forward.

I get it though, MAF "puts a shift in".

It's that glop from the Venky's advert they did. Paid in chicken instead of rupees.

Going to Man City away on a Wednesday night when it could be argued we havent got a lot to play for (apart from finishing the season as well as possible) is slightly different to going away to West Brom on a Saturday at 3pm when youve got everything to play for!!!

at them prices on a wednesday night it wont be a bad turn at all, blackburn prices was £25...we took 2,000 there this season for them prices...they're laughable, won the prem and have a fan base like that ::)

Jones has had a bit of stick lately but thought he did well. Generally defended well and got forward and used the ball well. Probably now getting back to fitness after being rushed back due to Reid's injury.

Brunt, Andrews, Dorrans that's some shooting potential in midfield. Thought there was one occasion when Dorrans could have had a crack but didn't pull the trigger. Great ball in for Ridgewell's goal.

Happy with that.  Scoreline was maybe a bit flattering.

GK and Defence: Excellent.
Mulumbu: Good all round display.
Andrews:  Played well, looks better with Mulumbu in there.
Dorrans:  Excellent game.
Brunt:  Dead ball's were brilliant but his all round play was a bit poor.
MAF:  Took his goal well but was a bit off the pace at times.
Pete:  Our biggest threat but was offside too often.

il have to disagree with bits of this.
the only threat odemwingie provided was giving the linesman a sore arm!
MAF was probably our best player on the pitch

Brunt took about 70minutes to get going (after he failed to get on the end of a beauty of a cross) he seemed to get wound up and put a shift in, passing was imense. left jones exposed to often though due to lack of fittness.

Andrews didnt touch the ball in the second half to my knowledge i was suprised not to see scharner earlier. Not a Dorrans fan as im sure many of you know.... having said that i thought he was our best player after fortune, considering a lack of fittness he put in a shift put some great deliverys in and tried to beat his man.
O Albion we love you
