Generally, in my lifetime, games against Fulham are always remembered for the wrong reasons. I'll never forget walking out of Craven Cottage feeling utterly dejected after that Bouba Diop winner in 04/05. Especially after playing a well as we did. I was certain we were going down at that point. I also remember them coming to the Hawthorns and giving us a footballing lesson under Jean Tigana in 2000. Their team had the likes of Saha, Boa Morte, Fabrice Fernandes, Stolcers, and a few others on huge wages for that level. Fulham brought about 1,000 fans - tops, and you hardly heard a peep out of them all game. "You're GOOD, but you've got NO fans!"
I think its just a full set of fixtures on Jan 31st and Feb 1st to be honest.
I think this'll be the first time Roy will have been back to Craven Cottage after he left for Liverpool isn't it? I know last season he managed to avoid going there by leaving Liverpool before playing them and joining us after the catastrophe we left there.
Also, compare the different defences that we'll have had there from last year.! Potentially this season:Shorey Olsson McAuley Jones FosterAgainst the injury madness last season:Cech Zuiverloon Jara Hurst CarsonLong way much?
