Think it'll be a very tough game considering this is the only game in international football Wales actually care about (not belittling them either, its reflected by their attendances against everyone but England) still they are in awful form, so we really do have to be looking to win.

It's in Cardiff and we all remember what happened in Belfast a few years ago.

Wales have a good side but were still better on paper and id expect to win. After dropping points in the last qualifier, we probably need to win this one but a draw wont kill us.

As a Welsh Baggie :D i  am hoping for a draw , we have some good young players but they need time to gel ,in a few years the future looks bright with the likes of Bale, ramsey , Myhill :D,  coming up the ranks, i feel sorry for Bale , i just hope he dosent end up like giggs and never gets the chance to perform in the world cup.

Prediction

Wales 1-2 England

Bellamy for wales and Terry and Wilshere for england

Pretty sure England will win, Wales will be up for it but the difference in class between the 2 sides is massive. "Derby" or no derby, it is unacceptable for England to lose this one.

He's been made permanent captain according to the news just, Capello with yet another farce of a decision. Its that kind of thing that has lead to me going from someone who used to go to Wembley for the home games to someone that doesn't even bother watching them on TV anymore.

Wales 4 - 0 England

Then that clown of a manager who I believe is actually asking to be sacked can be.  His bizarre rants, statements and actions are truly baffling.

England are trudging along now blindly when we should be planning for the next World Cup.  The side needs rebuilding and youth blooded in important games not sticking with the old guard who have constantly failed and bottle it in tournaments.

Have to agree with Kris about Capello asking for the sack, to drop the captaincy as a punishment for his actions only to reinstate him twelve months later is horrific and bizzare to say the least. Especially as he didn't ring Rio Ferdinand to tell him.

Could never bring myself to saying that but I understand exactly what you mean, cant be doing with international football anyway just interferes with domestic games. Only good thing about them is that theres football in the summer when the seasons over but even that was pretty boring last year.

I was looking forward to this match. I usually despise the England team but against the home nations I will bring myself to support them. However, after the clown that is Fabio Capello re-instated Terry as captain I have gone back to despising them. I could never bring myself to support another national team though.

Jarvis is a good player , but i think a england call up is a bit strange , Jerome Thomas has scored the same amount of goals as jarvis and has the same assists,  and has played less games, Jerome tore Sagna apart at the emirates , and caused Man United problems at home , Thomas is very similar to Lennon though maybe thats why he wont get picked.

Here is the full England team, I thought Matt Jarvis has derserved a call up, he has done very well this season.

Goalkeepers: Ben Foster (Birmingham), Robert Green (West Ham), Joe Hart (Man City).

Defenders: Leighton Baines (Everton), Gary Cahill (Bolton), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Michael Dawson (Tottenham), Phil Jagielka (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Joleon Lescott (Man City), John Terry (Chelsea, capt), Kyle Walker (Aston Villa).

Midfielders: Gareth Barry (Man City), Stewart Downing (Aston Villa), Matt Jarvis (Wolves), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Aaron Lennon (Tottenham), James Milner (Man City), Scott Parker (West Ham), Ashley Young (Aston Villa), Jack Wilshere (Arsenal).

Strikers: Darren Bent (Aston Villa), Andy Carroll (Liverpool), Peter Crouch (Tottenham), Jermain Defoe (Tottenham), Wayne Rooney (Man Utd).

                             Hart

Johnson     Jagielka      Terry        Cole

               Barry               Wilshere

                         Lampard

Lennon             Carroll              Rooney

That would be my side against Wales.  No doubt Crapello will go boring and predictable 4-4-2 with someone like Milner on the left.

I think Jarvis should get some part in the game. He's something different, the way he plays reminds me of a few players in La Liga. It's nice to have a player in the side that has performed with trickery and skill and a few goals that doesn't play for a top side.

                                                 Hart/Foster
      Johnson               Terry                        Dawson            Cole

                       Barry                                   Wilshere

    Lennon                                                                  Young

                                               Lampard
                               Rooney

I think that would easily take apart a poor 1 man team. 4-0

I think Carroll and Rooney will start up top.

Lampard, Milner, Lennon and Wilshere in the middle.

Still to this day dont understand why Milner is so highly rated.

Poor decision I think, he should just be concentrating on getting fit again (which he didn't seem to be agains us really) and getting back to his best rather than throwing added pressure at him, particularly when there's people like James Collins who are surely far more suited to the job.

On another England related note, England under 21's beat Denmark under 21's 4-0 away from home, impressive result even if first half and early second wasn't that good. Sturridge seems a very good player though.

I disagree, he is young and has a lot to learn but I like him as a player. Definitely not worth £35m but I do think him and Rooney could be a very successful partnership for England

2-0 now.  Like a Prem team against League 1 this is.  Easy wins coming.

Of course we will, Rooney picks up a needless booking again.

Giggs and Nevilles comments of 'thats just Rooney' were soon silenced by Hoddle

I like the fact Chris Coleman is complaining that they are playing at the Millenium rather than Swansea or the new Cardiff ground.

The players are useless thats why they are loosing

Rooney is a good player but the word great is used for someone who performs on an international stage, wouldnt pick him personally from now on really is useless for england.

A win's a win. Shame we couldn't maintain the tempo of the opening 20 minutes and instead lowered ourselves to the pathetic standard of the Welsh.

Wilshere and Parker were immense, Darren Bent is absolute *****!

If he can sustain a place in the England side then there is hope for us all. He is painfully slow, the amount of times Wilshere slid balls through that he didn't anticipate was ridiculous, he never got close to winning a header all game, he must have a right foot like a pitching wedge cause everytime he touched the ball it went straight up his nose and yeah he scored but he nearly bloody missed from 6 yards. Blokes useless yet is somehow one of the top scorers in the Premier League for the past couple of seasons.

Easy routine win, the game didn't live up to the expectation, England for the first half were in impressive form whilst Wales couldn't get out their own half. If the Wales performance from the last half an hour being there all game it would of been much closer in my opinion.

Wilshere once again caught me eye, thought he, Lampard and Scott Parker all clicked well.

Wales were pathetic. Its England who disappointingly took their foot off the gas in the second half not wales upping their game.
To be honest Luxemburg would have posed a greater threat

wales were terrible,  definitley missed Bale

Johnsons ball to young for the second goal was incredible, though I still think kyle walker is a better option

Capello is getting the plaudits for doing something that us fans have known for a year, that the 4-4-2 is boring and wont work

LAMPARD WILSHERE PARKER is a very good midfield

YOUNG A.JOHNSON ROONEY as a trio would be class

Darren  Bent, he seemed off it today, but most of the time, he's deadly in front of goal .. He offers very little else though

We won 2-0. People need to realise we aren't an elite national side as so an away win 2-0 is very good. Look at other nations results.

As a i am Welsh , i was pretty dissapointed in the first half, we were awful, 2nd half we did a bit better  but we struggled to create something, we missed bale  , but why the hell didnt we put Bellamy on Glen Johnson i dont know,  Ramsey Captain  :o   good young player but Captain already, not for me. If i was speed i would get on the phone to ryan giggs get him to play now and then and be a coach, Because my dad is english ,i hope England do well in Euro 2012 Wilshere and parker were brilliant today, will england win it ,  Maybe

I agree with you about Ramsey, inexperienced decision by Speed to say the least. I would stick with him now though and build around him, you never know in 6 years plus time Wales might eventually qualify for something. They have some promising youngsters

The fact that England are ranked 6th tells you how useful those rankings are. If England are the 6th best footballing nation in the world then we are good enough to qualify for the Champions League.

World rankings get a lot of justified hate in all fairness. You look at the rankings and say who behind England is better? France maybe, but they shouldn't be ahead after struggling to qualify for the world cup, then doing awful in it, and currently having a worse qualifying record. Italy have also been comparable to England, but hardly better.

The rest are all worse than an England team who world cup aside have steamrollered their way through the past couple of years and are justifiably sixth. That we struggle against the teams ahead of us is a given but generally we're much better at beating the smaller teams than people give us credit for.

Take yesterday and that WBADEVON guy bizarrely wanting Capello out after the most comfortable 2-0 you will ever wish to see. People will moan about anything. Even if we did somehow win something the same clowns would be moaning we didn't score enough goals or the defence wasn't good enough. Its like the same people who criticise people for being overly negative about Albion then do the same about England.

World class side? No. Better than people give us credit for? Comfortably.

Just got up after a quality day in corporate at the match.

Few stories from it..

Got poofaced
abused the welsh
met a few peeps..was having a slash and Giggsy walked in  and stood next too me..i said i aint shaking your hand mate...he said why you liverpool or city?? I said no im the mighty west bromwich albion mate but you have just been holding your cock mate...

Suprised at how slight he is....nice bloke had a chat ended it as your one of my footballing heroes fella dont retire soon your far too good still to do that legend..

Met Glenn Hoddle,  Chris Coleman, Martin Tyler
Saw Giggs again he was with Neville this time and said hello too me and Neville turned too me and said how do..i said to him how does it feel to know West Brom retired you....he walked off and everyone cracked..funny as

After the match went back to coach park too find our coach gone...we was 30 minutes early at 530 coach was leaving at 6...

Anyway the coach next to us was still there and it had an 0121 number so chanced a lift back..we got lucky and it just happened to be an Albion coach from Tipton...quality few faces id seen before on there from away games so had all good...anyway if any of you who were on there post on here then thanks again lads..saved us...

And in the normal seating in front of our box sat 4 lads 2 were albion and 1 wipe that snot and a dingle...nice enough lads but the dingle had no banter at all i was giving Hennesy some stick and he kept turning round with a face on..idiot

all in all a quality day out...

Are you scotland in disguise

you can shove your f*****g dragon up your backside

sing when your mining....they were poor singing wise...

Always **** on the welsh side of the bridge

Bus stop in bristol your just a bus stop in bristol

When we sung I wanna go home song with cardiffs a s***hole I wanna go home the welsh swansea people sung it too...quality
