We have key players injured and some not 100%.
We have players on the fringes who aren't good enough.
Our manager made it pretty clear in the summer and again now that for us to be any better and build on last year we must sign better players and pay the required wages.
We did sign better players and added to a decent squad. Now I think we need to move several players along plus Dorrans, Thycoi and Cox and bring in players who have prem games under their belts.
After games like yesterday and Wigan before (and probably another
one or two)it is depressing.
But I really think we are better and will comfortably stay up.
We had enough chances to go in at half time 2/3-0 up. Some of our play in the last third was good.
I've sat there through some real dross - Ron Saunders, John Giles 85/6, Brian Talbot - this now isn't anywhere near as bad as what I a read on here.
Funny thing is if we go and beat Stoke next week (way overdue) the tide turns and were looking up again.
All not bad people. Have faith
