Strangely the finance is not mentioned at all, usually the principal driver behind such partnerships, "Man Utd announce record sponsorship deal" as an example.

Undisclosed.....
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.

Including flex down for relegation, probably somewhere between 10 and 25 pence

Not too bad i suppose, i was worried we would end up having to pay Ideal more.

We probably would if it were an ideal world (for them).

40 odd million a season their new deal is worth.  :o

As a sponsor i think they have been ideal... they changed their logo to go with our kits and seem involved in the local community. At least it's not another overseas betting company that drops us as soon as we go down. No qualms from me. Maybe we could get more money when at top table for a few seasons but these are happy to back us in champ too. Long term partnership. The only area of the club we seem to have more than a 6 month plan...

I do hope that next season sees the end of these gimmicky shirts with variable width stripes  - especially on the red and yellow kit which made the team look like a set of 16th century gigolos.

It's the football that should be eye-catching.

I was impressed with them sticking with us too. Like you say, the only visible sign of long termism.

Played like them, too. Certainly sp***ed this season up the wall.

Clever or un-intended its brought them a lot of exposure for the investment made.

Definitely clever.

If you look at their entry at companies house the vast majority of their business in done in UK.
The parent company is French, so a year in the Prem will have given them global exposure, especially now every games is broadcast.
They also say that their business is driven by installers, so the boilerman mascot would promote at the very heart of their customer base.
I would say that there is a very distinct correlation between our embarrassment & the upturn in their business.
Additionally football is essentially a winter sport, just when you need heating.
If it was easy, it wouldn't be Albion

Genuinely had no idea Boiler Man, Baggie Bird or any other mascot had been in stadiums to receive worldwide exposure on TV during this season's lockdown. Learn something new every day.

This is great as far as i'm concerned.

I'm very very happy we've not gone back down the dodgy bookies/gambling path.

The boiler thing is a laugh. No-one takes it seriously

Wonder if the prospective owners are happy with that, or have a say.

Here's hoping they're not steaming, could blow a basket, throw a spanner in the works and call the whole thing off as they think we're a shower of a club. On the other hand they could be flushed with happiness.
