We have nothing up top whatsoever. Kanu is just an awful footballer and Phillips seems unable to get dropped despite how terrible he was against the Blues. Didnâ€™t track his man there and it cost us a goal

Phillips and Hegazi really not good tonight
An issue we are going to have to sort quickly, is they attack with a three and backed up by two midfield runners
Our back 2 donâ€™t know who they are picking up..and Livermore cannot keep pace with the midfield runners

We should never have started this match 433....
Letâ€™s see wether Slav can actually engineer a turnaround....Iâ€™m not confident

Not sure how people can blame Hegazi for that goal, Phillips lost it then couldnt get back to track his runner. The cross/shot got deflected and into watkins path.

Really don't like this formation, much preferred the way we playerd after New Year when Krov was starting.

To be honest that was an excellently worked goal. Quick attack down the wing, got behind our defence, and first time onto the cross.

Hegazi was in front of him.....heâ€™s 6ft plus and apparently the â€œnests of the pyramidsâ€ yet Watkins brushes him aside and finishes ...terrible

They look well capable of scoring again. Sharper, faster, more skilful and incisive so far.

Weâ€™ve gone several hours without a goal. This could be a difficult night unless the pattern changes.

Mate, Hegazi whole spell with this club has been littered with basic mistakes and you have spotted none of them.

Watched goal again, the ball took a slight and unlucky deflection off one of ours, dropped nicely to their guy. Not Hegazis fault.

I predicted defeat tonight and was even more sure we'd get turned over when I saw the starting line-up:
-Hegazi: Can't defend
-Gibbs: Can't defend
-Livermore: Can't pass for toffee
-Phillips: Passenger
-HRK: Out of form, looks isolated

Against a very good team like Brentford you can't afford to carry so many passengers.

I thought Bartley was woeful last season under Moore and this year was revitalised with Bilic, and had a brilliant spell earlier on. Unlike Hegazi Bartley actually presents a threat from set pieces and scores / assists a few. Meanwhile the Egyptian giant is mysteriously missing from action every time we win a coroner or free kick. The difference is when Bartley drops a clanger I'll acknowledge it whereas you treat Hegazi like he's Maldini regardless of what happens on the pitch.
