He's only being given an 18 month deal apparently. As Stan says it's a roll of the dice.

At this point I think Southampton are as good as relegated there is a 4 way fight with Wolves, Ipswich, Leicester and Everton trying to avoid the other 2 relegation places. At this point I am assuming Palace will move clear and other than that it would take a fairly disastrous run for any of the clubs in mid-table to drop into the battle.

On paper I'd probably take the Wolves squad over the other 3 but not by much and it is hard to ignore how poorly they are playing and the near total breakdown of discipline.  The bookies have them as 4th favourites for relegation at a best priced 17/20 which is pretty much a coin flip. I think they should be a little shorter at something like 4/6 and certainly will be if they lose to Leicester on Sunday. Very tempted to take something on Leicester at 31/20 and Wolves to be relegated.

But I do need to check my natural biases on that one ;D

I think the numbers still support them having a chance however, if they dont pick up points in next 2 games it could be starting to look pretty terminal for them (here's hoping anyway)

Don’t think he’s stayed much longer than that anywhere !

This new fella's had an interesting journey and he's clearly upset a few people along the way. Seems a complex character but there's definitely a brain in there which might make him unpopular with the locals. Whatever happens I think it's going to be interesting.

As I said in the wolves thread, much as I will hate being proven right again in this instance, the three promoted sides will keep them up.

They could find themselves 8 points behind Leicester following the weekends games.

That to me seems a lot to turn around as you would envisage that Leicester will also look to strengthen in January.

Somehow knew your prediction wouldn’t come in, sadly. Leicester having their reserve keeper in goal for this one did them no favours, he’s truly awful

RvN seems out his depth. His win vs West Ham apparently flattered them top. Crazy Leic fans drove Cooper out and somehow get someone worse grass isn't always greener...

I think you're right the promoted sites will sadly keep them up.

Would take Cooper in a heartbeat if I am honest. Though I did wonder why it took Wolves so long to sack GON, he's obviously lost the dressing room. They look a much better side under Pereira. Shame, I was looking forward to them getting relegated.

We definitely don't want O'Neil. He looks totally clueless when his Ipad isn't telling him what to do. They have one great player Cunha and some okay players around him. They will probably survive now but they will definitely sell him at some point and then they will be back to square one

Luckily for Wolves it appears the FA Disciplinary Panel appear to have downed tools in favour of knives, forks, food and booze for the Festive Season.

They miss Cunha badly, such a jammy club he only misses 1 league game despite all his antics.

Imagine getting done over on your own muck heap by a former manager who couldn't 'take you to the next level', a former player who you've booed for the heinous crime of bringing money into your club and the former prospect of your most hated rivals. Up to the elbow. That's got to hurt. Imagine, imagine..........  ;D .
