Getting to easy to predict now. We will start brightly go 1-0 up and then drop deeper and deeper until they equalise. 1-1.

These are in trouble. Bigger trouble than us. Surely we can get 3 points here if we apply ourselves?

We will draw and then after this Carlos only needs 27 more draws to keep us in the league

Looking at some stats on them I’ve changed my mind. They have conceded 70 chances in their last five games! Surely we can outscore them if we can defend as we normally do?

Less than 72 hours between matches bothers me. Hull will have had 2 more days of rest. It’s factor for certain. Let’s hope we somehow fashion a win.

To win this one we will have to be more positive. If we can get ahead and continue to push I feel we could get a few against Hull. They are low of confidence, losing games and their support is turning on the club as quite rightly they should not have sacked Rosenior. I just hope that we don’t play to stifle them and give them too much respect as we did at Oxford and Luton.

Yeah that's very much the first expectation that comes to mind.

We, absolutely, should be imposing ourselves on these and we 100% have the ability in our squad be best them comfortably.

Fingers crossed! 🤞

We had a weeks rest almost v Burnley and put in the most pathetic performance this season so that means nothing

If we don't get a win out of this one, we might as well get the swimming trunks out.

I feel like this game could be a turning point with a lot of fans if we fail to win, would like us to go with possibly the below.

                  Palmer

Furlong    Holgate   Heggem  Styles

              Mowatt    Molumby

Dobbin        Grant      Johnston

                  Maja
Smethwick..

0-2 Baggies back on track
Hull are a poor side and with our away record there can only be one result

With so few options to go 3 at the back this is similar to how I would go
I would play diakite alongside molumby giving us some much needed legs in midfield and also allow our full backs more license to get forward
I’d be leaving grant on the left and maybe like you giving Johnston a chance in the free role or maybe even playing Cole alongside maja
But I’m expecting the same rigid formation with the likes of Racic,Wallace and diangana coming back in to start
Teams have sussed out that if they stop mowatt acting as a playmaker they negate most of our control of the game and mowatt himself has been poor the last 3 games

CC still wont put out an attacking side. 0-0 or even 1-0 to Hull.

Like others I have a concern about Style's potential susceptibility at the far post. At the same time I also think Mowatt is looking a bit stale. I'm not averse to your line up but I think it might be time to find out what Styles can do in central midfield alongside Molumby with Frabotta getting a start at left back to see how he gets on.

Ed: Oops, completely forgot Frabotta is out with a groin injury.

It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I’m not sure what people mean anymore by an “attacking side”. Two wingers, a central striker , a midfielder who is supposed to create and two full backs that are better going forward than they are defending seems like an attacking team to me ?

Exactly... Only a solitary person up front. No-one to pass the ball onto. Has to hold the ball untill reinforcements arrive, even though the defence have more players to surround him, and take the ball away.

This is where players must be more aware , the AM has to be the one to get closer and possibly one of the wingers to , it’s not a actical fault it’s players lack of appreciation for a situation. We played a similar system last season and had no problems creating chances , most of the moans were at BTA for missing them !

Tomorrow is the day, I fancy Corberan to catch them out in the way they attempt to build up, being gifted a goal in that manner might be what we need to spark us. 3-0 to us and the Hull manager to be sacked after the game, that's what I'm going with.
