It is truly remarkable that they have been in the Championship for 6 seasons 3 of which they had parachute money and have not managed to finish above 14th. Changed manager 5 times and probably turned the squad over twice spending millions in the process and nothing moves the dial.

#norwich coach Narcis Pelach has agreed in principle to become the new #scfc manager.
He is expected to sign a contract at Stoke tomorrow.
Pelach is in the stands at the Bet 365 Stadium tonight to watch his new squad play Fleetwood in the Caribou Cup.
Compensation agreed.

Jobs (which apparently happens quite a lot via agents, reps, etc) so the board are happy too as he has shown he is loyal.
You're a very reliable person here and i don't want to get into he said, she said, but i've been told for an absolute fact his agent had initial chats with Brum. Two people with connections to the club, who don't know each other told me that. Very probably just the agent doing his job in hearing our vague ideas, which i don't take as Carlos wanting out. But he (i believe) did "speak" to Brum, at least briefly.
But to the point in hand. I'd be delighted to put another year or two on the contract length (currently ends June 2026 i think?), but i fear any long term contract would have to contain get out clauses and thus make it semi-worthless? Just a fear of mine, no inside knowledge.
