Whoever is selected by Mowbray for the team, please, please do not include Swift or Wallace even on the bench.  Both are past it and likely to be the kiss of death especially when we have a great selection of new faces in Attacking Midfield and Strikers.
exactly play thev strongest team from the off /not introducing new signings when your chasing the game  8)

I would do this deal in a heart beat in the summer less keen on it mid season.

Somewhere I commented on the potential Palmer/Griffiths trade i.e. sell the former promote the latter and my view was I didn't see Palmer as a starter in the Premier League and unless I was wrong the big fee wasn't there. Now Ipswich who are a Premier League team in name only following their home defeat to Southampton have stepped in and yes the fee is a little disappointing but sadly reflects the reality of the situation.

Yet I would still of held off to the summer.
god i hope not on pre season friendlies i have seen

If I were Tyson Fury I'd have been embarrassed by that performance, embarrassed all the way to the bank. Didn't watch the whole fight but for me he didn't do anywhere near enough to force a decision.

Usyk a clear winner on our TV. I must have watched a different fight to the one my lad watched when he was out with his mates though 'cause he thought Fury won. Laughably.
watched the whole fight and as you say usyk clear winner how many times did the referee have to break them apart mostly fury smothering usyk"s body far more clinical by the winner

Based on this 45 minutes Taylor needs 2 years on loan playing against men
Hall better going forward than defending
Fabrotta no better than Townsend and certainly not as good as Heggem
Diakite neat and tidy
Whitwell again whenever I’ve watched the reserves looks good
Heard looks technically good, again maybe needs a loan
Dobbin is trying too hard maybe, not on the level of Johnstone,Grady or even Grant on that showing
Cole this looks about his level
Faal done ok, another who needs another loan not a championship player yet
not impressed with this keeper either so far

He's a very poor gk
He should have saved both Blackburn goals, both on the side he should have got to
i am not a fan either for such a big goalkeeper he get beat low down too often we needc to priortise each end of the pitch first and foremost its no good having the majority of the play if you cant defend and cant score

Thought it was all a bit naff. First few rounds impressive and then spent the remainder running round the ring

I don’t subscribe to the rubbish that he didn’t want to knock Williams out.

I hope there’s not a rematch as Williams was thoroughly outclassed.
williams went down very easily when caught to me didnt think they were full blooded punches but as you say outclassed

We have to be realistic Bruce as form for getting promoted from this division, anyone know what his preferred formation is?
not fussed who we appoint as long as the ball is kept mainly on the deck  not the turgid football that has been served up for months [if you can call it that] and these players are obviously better than recent performances but need at least another year in this division . to many inconsistant performers need moving on not easily done. not giving extended contracts to .

Supporters are amazing people ! Many moaned on here and elsewhere when he played the kids against the Arsenal when they wanted more senior players in ‘ and give it a proper go ‘ , and now many are moaning because he isn’t playing more than the odd one or two when he has to !!
kids or senior players it will not make any difference its the style of play .he could have the best players at his disposal and it still would not work hoofing high in the air and[ hit too long for the front men] and head tennis most of the time .and dont mention the corners straight into the keepers hands or fouls against in a crowded box .theres only outcome from that awful football and lucky if 2 shots are on target all game

Getting very embarrassing now, anyone we go for now will have the club over a barrel.  The best option we have now is Mcinnes. In my opinion.
i agree ticks all the boxes too .watch out for all the anti mcinnes replies on here

I haven't said i want Macinnes i said i want Lampard! And you can't take away the fact he played here. What i know of him though he is an  honest bloke passionate about the game and  wouldn't stand no messing. But as i also said that is an opinion and no matter who we have we can't predict what will happen.  If i could I'd win the pools every week!!
well said 59 totally agree .just have a read from alex fergusons assumption of mcinness on sky glowing report indeed  :D

McInnes is literally worse case scenario.
this time last week there were 3 votes they have more than trebled in number since .so not everyone would be dissapointed

I agree, the decision on the new manager should come from the head not the heart.
Having said that our decision will come from the wallet.
exactly .who do some folks think we are going to attract it will be a cheap option while this lot are in charge  :o

If McInnes never played for us his name would not have been mentioned by any wba fan.

Steve Clarke finished above McInnes with Kilmarnock, Jack Ross (former Sunderland manager) has just finished above Aberdeen with Hibernian. Albion connections aside then McInnes wouldn’t and shouldn’t be mentioned.
i wasnt just meaning 1 season his whole tenure at aberdeen small minded to say the least 8)

i see more votes have gone for mcinness and rightly  so its alright keep downing scottish football but has been dominated by the same two clubs for years of which aberdeen have had some victories under mcinness and winning the league cup just remember where did ferguson come from to the mancs plus albion had scottish players in the past and aproper captain while at the albion strong character which will be needed

Huge shame they couldn't hold on. Woeful defending by Furlong all game really but crucially at the end.

Another 2 conceded and the 18 million pound man desperately poor in front of goal.

Bartley, Pereira, Snodgrass and Diagne played well.

Need this Turkish lad so we can finally bin Livermore.
what about gibbs shocking defending for the first goal

Don't think they were that bad, he's just superb. Johnstone wouldn't have been coming and taking them put it that way.
free kick deliveries and poor balls in results in wasted opportunties

Coming up against another good keeper here...
in that case hope the players keep the crosses well away from his reach how many were poor against burnley like picking cherries for pope

Cant be bothered to address most of it but GIBBS.

Watch first goal again. He has 4, yes 4 choices to make when the first ball comes into the box.

1 Let it go for a goal kick
2 Head it out for a corner
3 Head it out to the wing away from danger
4 If confident enough just a little nod back to Johnstone, there was no one anywhere near him.

No the pillock decides to head it right back into the penalty area and increase the pressure on us.

He then fails to read the run of the full back who gets in front of him and buries the header.

I dont care if 25,000 Albion fans corner me in an alley way, the guy cannot defend to save his life.
totally agree at the moment townsend all day for me better defender .
