Awful first half, marginally better at the start of the second half but completely under the cosh for the final 15 minutes. Overall that’s really poor against a bang average Millwall side.

We are going to miss the play offs by 10 points

We are not great, we all know that. We won’t miss play offs by 10 points though. No way.

I don’t believe Swift cannot be bothered, it’s simply his style and since his injury he is struggling to find form.

I will however reiterate the point that the squad is not good enough and that includes Swift.

How right you are Aztech. If the squad was good enough, we would be seriously challenging at the top of the league would we not?

Really pleased he got on the pitch today.
It gives us another option up front.
For now his minutes need to be managed but I'd like to see him getting 30 mins or so against Oxford.

Me too. Truly hope that he can put the hell of his previous injuries behind him. He’s clearly got fantastic resolve and spirit.

Based on what facts?

On what facts are your comments based? My opinion is based on an unbalanced squad that achieved its league position through the meticulous preparation and organisation of our previous coach. That's why I think it's a tough gig. Okay?

There are too many with soft feet here.  I think Tony finds it overwhelming

Overwhelming? I doubt that very much. This was never going to be an easy gig for a new manager.

I will comment just on today. A good, hard earned point. Lots to work on, granted. However, I recall several away games under CC that weren’t pretty either. Shout out for the goalkeeper who was excellent.

Wallace shirt pictured hanging up. Hope he doesn't get any game time, he's a notorious bottler against Millwall, especially down here

He's captain. Diakite in Ajayi in. Dike on bench!

Ajayi is every bit as suspect as Holgate. I guess it's Hobson's choice there until Bartley becomes available again.

The best team won in yet more evidence of how very average we are. Their centre forward, number 10 and left back, none of who are household names, were excellent.

He's an underrated coach for me. How he's got that squad that high up the table is an achievement

Yes, a bit like what our last coach achieved last season.

People can leave when they want to. Having paid their admission fee it’s up to them. I hate to get stuck in traffic but have my tried and trusted routine of leaving my seat before the end and catching the final moments on the tv under the stand.it works for me but each to their own.

My only real issue with Molumby was after the final whistle when he was celebrating in front of their fans.
I know I'd be angry if an opposition player did that having scored an injury time winner. Ill judged.

Absolutely right. The celebration I fully understand but definitely not the goading of their fans.

Not sure how Molumby can be excused. He's not a child. But agree that Bartley ought to know better despite his actions being nothing significant in my view.

I agree, also I'm amazed that our fans have exonerated Jason Molumby in all of this.

I can understand the excitement after scoring the "at the death" winner, but immediately after scoring he goaded the sheffield bench & after the final whistle he also goaded their fans, which led to the confrontations between the players.
I believe he didn't just go down the tunnel, but was told to by our management team.

Wouldn't be at all surprised to also see a fine from the FA.

Yes, Molumby was out of order. I totally understand the euphoria, we all felt that. But winding up opposition players and fans is totally unacceptable and Bartley paid the price. I very much hope that TM has a strong word with Molumby.

I didn't realise how big this lad was. Not your normal 19 year old.

It was a good cameo too - gave us something different upfront. I think we'll see plenty of him as the season progresses.

Indeed. He did very well and offers a real option up top.

I think there’s a case for his defence too. He pushed the player, didn’t hit him or elbow him. He, and more importantly, the team, are now punished and it will cause us a problem I feel.

Only seen the highlights but it seems like Furlong had a torrid time - all their attacks came down his side.

Wildsmith looked good but also spilled the ball for their goal. Shame Heggem couldn't pull off the double block on the goal line.

Your observation is spot on. I have to say though that Gassama, left winger, was excellent for them. Runs at defenders which make life very difficult for the full back.

My simple response to your question is no, we don’t have too many options.
Take out the injured, take out those who haven’t got it any more, or never did have it and you don’t have too many choices left. Swift and Grady to go in the summer and hopefully Wallace who we have to agree to disagree about. He’s really poor now.
Anyway, it’s better than having no options as as too often been the case.

Deserved the win against a poor and surprisingly negative Wednesday. Superb goal from Armstrong. No other play on our books would score that. Any other result would have been a travesty.

For me I don’t mind if Wildsmith gets the shout today. Of course I want Griffiths to be number 1 long term but a lot of people with football knowledge and logic have said that Wildsmith has been training alongside these players day in day out. I don’t actually think he was bad v Bournemouth he came up against a VERY in-form side.

I would rather Griffiths started but I don’t mind either way, Wildsmith was second only to Palmer last year for clean sheets, right? And player of the season for his former club.

Well said. The lack of Palmer worries me more than which one of the 2 options we choose.

If he starts Wallace ahead of Lankshear,Armstrong and Grant ….he’s will get deserved questions over his decision making.

I agree with you and don’t think he will start Wallace.

Why is it so bad if this guy starts? We don’t know much about him other than he had an excellent season last time around. Whoever starts is a downgrade on Palmer in my view so let’s wait and see.
