The whole point of us paying the big loan fee and wages was that he buried the chances like the one tonight and against Leeds, as he doesn't do anything else.

Also, I can't believe how often he is miles offside.

His whole game just seems to be off at the moment.
Agree with this, said it last week against Leeds chance was extremely similiar. Has to score, can forgive everything else if he's clinical with the only chance he gets.

I miss Maja.

Love this little bloke so much, that last ditch tackle was absolute immense.

For someone 'not a proper left back' not much gets past him.

Was it because of the supposed handball?
There centre half just decided to kick one of ours after the whistle, very very silly.

I think he's playing further forward because his pressing is ridiculous, I've never seen anyone win as much as him when he presses.

Really impressed with this lad, don't think he'll be here long.

Not his sharp usual self of late, as demonstrated again yesterday with that chance.

Hopefully, he can start firing again soon.
His all round play is non existant which is fine if he's scoring his chances, a striker like him should have scored that one on one.

Not impressed so far but we haven't really given him the service.

Good performance overall, had our chances and kept them quiet.

Happy with that.

Wildsmiths kicking has been criminal today.

Not at all convinced by Wildsmith. He scares me
Kickings looked worse than Palmers today, shocking.

Wildsmith gives the ball away first then what was he doing coming for it?

Plymouth going well under Miron Muslic.  He seems to have brought across several useful no-nonsense East European defenders.
As against us, Talavierov is a monster at the back; equalised last night against Luton.
Been very impressed by the Plymouth manager and those CB's, the one celebrates every tackle.

Think this thread needs renaming to just personnel as I have no idea what our system or tactics are?

I thought Price, Mowatt and Molumby as a three worked really well today and would have liked to have seen Fellows and Mikey on the pitch with them. However, we simply can't take Mowatt out of this team/off the pitch as we just lose all sense of being able to play football. Our goal came from having no one on the pitch in the middle who would show for the ball forcing us to just lump it and let Sheff Wed back into the game. The only person who should be coming on for Mowatt is Swift as he always shows for the ball and slows play down which is what you want to see out a football match less so when trying to score.

Football is really mental isn't it, have a whole month then 10 minutes before it closes they say yeah go ahead you can go then race like mad men to finalize paperwork. Bonkers.

Percy!!!!!!!

#wba are hopeful of completing a late - very late - loan deal for #SaintsFC striker Adam Armstrong. Would be the final piece of business for new manager Tony Mowbray if completed
Your new mate MR baggies posted we couldn't get it over the line 30s before now he's deleted that as well, bad day for him   ;D

Big statement if we get this done.

All the best, should really have played a lot more games for us but don't begrudge him a prem move.

WBXtra teasing a guy with a strong arm, flip that and you get Armstrong don't you know.

Hope so anyway
Great if we could pull this off, big fan of his for a long time now.
Assume this means no Maja or Dike for the rest of the season if we want two forwards.

Poor for me today, very sloppy play. Not as much attacking.
He took all the attackers off for some reason. How Wallace and Grady are staying on the pitch longer than MJ and Fellows is a baffling decision.

Really, really poor from us across the park today. Can't think of anyone who can come out of that with any credit.

We've just looked really sloppy today across all areas, not sure why he's took our only attacking players off in Johnstone and Fellows.
