Interesting game tonight. Fulham still a lot of people’s pick whereas Cardiff seem to have gone under the radar, despite the fact a Cardiff win puts them above Fulham.

Got 2-2 all over it.

Field got 74 mins and Leko 81 mins in Charlton's 2-0 win, plus Leko scored. Good action for our two.

Apologies for the "colour" but thought you might enjoy some of these

You have to wonder how he did so well at Luton? He obviously isn't ******* clueless but something is very very wrong with the club from top to bottom and those overpaid shitfucks on the pitch need to be held accountable as well they are a ******* disgrace!
**** knows how he will turn this round if he doesnt get the bullet

....and when they bought the 16 year old in you just knew he’d score. I did anyway- as an old timer myself it’s what happens to Stoke.
However we are atm the epitome of dire.

What the **** is everyone's problem? We're only 9 points off the playoffs ;)
The manager's position is about as tenable as an untenable thing, who's having an Untenable themed fancy dress party during freshers week at "The University of Untenable Things".
He can't survive the weekend can he?

and how about the capped one called back to Stoke to prevent relegation?

the stoke situation is tailor made for TP - they would be mad not to give in to the temptation.

Despite (or perhaps given) his previous time there a good number of Stokies absolutely detest TP. Many were absolutely and utterly sick of the sight of him and his brand of f*c*ball by the time he left. For me to say a potential reappointment would split the support base is a major understatement on my behalf.

Just seen a report on twitter that 'Boro are going to sue the League over them permitting Derby's ground sale to flout the FFP rules the full story is in the Times and as I don't subscribe no further details at present. Interesting development which could have significant ramifications. If it does go to court there is no way of knowing how this pans out.

On the subject of Derby watched their 1:1 against Cardiff. Neither side looked anything special and on balance our draw at Derby looks less good as I see more of this team.

Missed the second half and don't quite know how Leeds weren't 3 nil aagainst Derby but that's a good start to our weekend.

What a mess. It's looking properly weird at Derby, big name manager appointed in the summer. Rooney signed but not til January and obviously just a publicity stunt with unseemly gambling connotations. underwhelming start to their season and now this? All very odd.

I think it's a possibility without Keogh, he is like their Olsson was to us - a leader and rock at the back and now he is out for the season.

Watching them a few times this year they looked poor at times and I'd probably blame that on Cocu who doesn't win enough home games. We probably played our worst performance at their place and still drew, they just lack creativity.

I think Rooney coming in will help them but even still a few years in the MLS and possible lack of interest will have softened his impact.

Rooney will have lumps kicked out of him for fun in this league, he is known hot head. I'm not convinced he is going to be that great at all.

I don’t think people will kick lumps out of him at all. One or two might try but I think most will show him respect, and as he can handle himself just fine. That’s not to say he will be a success, but I don’t think it will be he because he is bullied.

Serves Derby right for the old "buying the ground" switcheroo to dodge FFP.

Agree, any player who can handle the physicality of the Premier League at age 16 is going to be fine as a grown man in the championship - the english youth system is famous (or infamous according to some) for going for brawn over brains and Rooney is typical of that.

One thing I would say though is that I think he's fell out of love with the game. He moved to Everton to play for his boyhood club and did quite well, then 1 year on he chose USA. Then he started moaning over there and seems sick of it. I think he will be ok for them without being a world-beater, but you'd think he'd have huge wages which will be a waste - even if it is funded by a loophole.
