Watford's starting front 3 is mighty impressive. The rest of them can be got at.

Furlong going to have to pull his socks up.

Huddersfield lost to Blues last night and were reportedly terrible. Could be a long season for them.

Their head coach and his staff left in the wake of several good players also departing. They won’t be as competitive this season imv.

I agree. Can't see them ending up anywhere near the play offs this season

Only one team has got off to a 100% start after two games (and only one other now can… Watford).  Nobody can take anyone for granted in this division.

Wasn’t Ferguson’s very similar on his debut? Get them early in the season when they’re still in their friendly mode?

Coventry vs Rotherham tomorrow has been postponed because Coventry’s pitch is unplayable.

There has to be a pretty big fine for that and a suspended point deduction. Completely unfair on Rotherham who will now have to find somewhere else to squeeze this game in what’s a very congested fixture list.

Not sure Coventry are at fault for it, it was due to a rugby game as part of the Commonwealth games last week and its the owners who need to be blamed.

9 Championship teams played league 1 or 2 opposition in the league cup tonight.

All 9 Championship teams lost.

Talk about a lack of interest in the league cup  ;D

For renting out a football stadium, to play silly egg ball, in Coventry….not Birmingham.

Read a press release from London Wasps earlier. They're a bit miffed with the negative press from this and Coventry's reaction to having to play elsewhere because of the state of the pitch.

Apparently they told Coventry the Commonwealth rugby 7s were being held there and they had no time or plans to relay the pitch prior to the season starting long before Coventry even moved back in.

They even advised them to look for alternative venues for the start of this season then too. This has more to do with Coventry than they'd like everyone to think.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

Watford fairly fortunate to beat Burnley 1-0 so have 7 points from a tricky three opening fixtures. They’ll be delighted with their points but they should really only be on 4 points given the performances.

Burnley are definitely a striker short.

Some interesting results today.

Norwich lose again
Sunderland throw away a 2-0 lead to draw.
Rotherham thump reading
Huddersfield beat Stoke.

Apparently Rudoni was outstanding for Huddersfield and has had a very good start there. Another league one talent I think we should have gone for who’s next transfer could be a big one.

Have you seen the Reading goalies performance today?
Gifted Rotherham at least three of their four goals
