Stoke have lost the most points from wining positions apparently. I can see a Bradford moment for Brentford at sometime. I’m so angry though as this was always going to be tough. There was always a decent chance this would of been a draw. They players should be fined two weeks wages

If we had of drawn last night Brentford would have came out with a totally different game plan mate . They would have needed the win where as today they only need a draw. I get your point but the game would have been totally different today

If it’s going to be Brentford who get 2nd I’d rather they win 3 or 4-1 rather draw this.

Struggling to see the logic here. Am I missing something?

They’ll get the draw, we will win last game (as will Brentford). They will go up on goal difference and we will lose in the play off final to Forrest.

Meanwhile, Villa will escape relegation on the last day with a last minute penalty won by a Grealish dive which is missed by VAR

It’s the Albion way

Losing out on automatic promotion on goal difference with 75 goals scored will be a bitter pill that will take years if not decades to recover from., from a fans point of view.

It's clear looking on twitter now just how much vitriol there is for us from premier league football fans. Everyone cheering Brentford on (which I get to a point), but tje reasoning seems to be less about how well run they are, and more about how much they don't want to see us in the premier league again.

******* depressing. I hope we stick it down their throats - seeing nothing similar about their darlings Fulham who are near enough the same club as us.

****** hate elitist football fans - one of the worst things about the premier league era. Really look down on working class clubs.

If we lose out we lose out , doesn’t matter to me whether it’s by ten points or ten goals

Because the last time anyone in the premier league actually bothered to watch us play we were playing the most depressing anti football known to man.

Yes to be fair when we finishing top half before Pulis media generally looked at us favourably. Once we were TP'd the media and neutrals hated us which is irrelevant but that's the last memory of us in the PL for the last few years we were there.

We are a far, far bigger club than Fulham. Completely agree with everything else. Screw them.
