I know this is highly unlikely, but how much pleasure would be derived from beating Leicester in the play off final and shoving it up Vardys passage.

Heavenly, we can only dream !!!
I’d be more interested in signing him for next season.

2
He’s been a good add to this squad second half of the season
However
We said similar about Diangana and for me over his period here there has been big periods of not a lot of return.
If we could get a 12 month loan with an obligation based on appearances next season then I’d be all over it .

Tbh they have a fair few players I like the look of, and that's after selling off two players to top division teams in summer.

Their recruitment is miles ahead of ours.
Yet there they are below us in the league…funny old world.

The quote doing the rounds I think has been doctored on Wiki ! If you take a peek today it’s word for word the same but with the lines about family being Leicester supporters missing. It could of course be the other way round and he or somebody else has deleted the lines !
Forget Wikipedia
He’s the one we had against the dingles in the cup
There’s a very strong chance he felt that we deserve a few bad decisions ?

Sheff Wed beat Blackburn with some truly awful goalkeeping from Pears.
Blues back in bottom 3.
Smodicz scores again,we could do a lot worse…

Thankfully Stoke ain’t out of it yet,but if only they lost yesterday.

That was VERY cruel I hate these decisions that involve mm’s and even with the lines aren’t clear in the slightest.
I love it
Have a strong dislike of Cov and that pillock o hare….possibly the worst barnet in football..

If you don't know why we sell 40,000 plus for Wembley but half that at Hawthorns, i don't know what to say.
Our allocation will not be 40,000
Most fans that want this seasons shirt have one at this point, the uptake on any left in the club shop just because we get to the playoffs will be small.

Very disappointed to lose that today. Doesn’t matter how you cut it, we lost because of the stupid actions of BTA. We were the better team up to that point. Real lack of discipline there and unlike us under this manager where we have a remarkable record in terms of players not getting sent off. We would not have lost if not for the sending off.
The last baggie to get sent off was the manager …
I know I’m in the minority here but my levels of respect for BTA have gone up…That Scumbag Ballard could have finished Maja’s career…I wish more of our players actually gave out a bit more …I am really disappointed in 2 others today, Townsend was next to useless and allowed their bloke the freedom to score…Wallace went straight after Ballard to shake his hand at the whistle.

We will be in the playoffs but we need to make some changes, starting with reach in for Townsend .

The reduction of the current strips has meant only the bigger sizes are left in the club shop.

If we make the po there will no strips available to the average armchair fan to buy.

I know it must be a hard balancing act to know when to reduce "old" stock, but we could lose out big time financially if we go haven't got plans like releasing the new kit early.
I’m lost at the line “if we make the playoffs there will be no strips for the average armchair fan”

Why do they particularly need a strip, to wear at home and only if we get in the playoffs ?

Can't think of a single ground in the country where more fans leave before full time than ours, regardless of win/draw/lose
West hammers were leaving in droves at half time a few weeks ago

Reach playing well. He’s had a few decent cameos from the bench recently also
Be interesting reading on here if he gets offered a contract
I don’t think he’s ever been as bad as some make out …I am disappointed he hasn’t had more efforts from range when he clearly knows how too.

We need one more before HT then steamroller them 2nd half

Their owners have made an absolute pigs ear of all their decisions this season, but go on national radio talking about a 3 billion pound stadium project …absolute madness.
Even if they do want the project they don’t need to talk about right now do they ??

You might be right that the players are tired, but we have no right to win every game in a notoriously tough league, when teams like Stoke near the bottom and fighting to stay up with a decent coach make them very difficult to beat at their home ground. The very nature of the Championship, with games coming thick and fast, makes it really tough.

We’ve just got to keep grinding out the points and we’ll be fine.  Many of the teams around us have to play each other.  We’ll be fine to reach the play-offs and then we’ll have a chance in that lottery.
And that is true to an extent…..but
Mowatt  and Yokuslu were both blowing after about 15 minutes , Bartley and Palmer both slipped multiple times….rest some players and wear proper boots would be my starting point.

It's not getting them in though. For example, last season my brother renewed my nieces season ticket at £23 without renewing his own, as it was only £3 more than buying a membership, I believe. The ticket never got used once. I'm sure this isn't a one off. I agree the younger generation needs encouraging but these season tickets are too cheap. Maybe up them to £50 a season ticket and throw a couple of kids for a quid games in throughout the season? If we do somehow go up they might get scrapped altogether anyway.
So removing it will get them through?
I got season tickets (again) for my two, they can’t get to every game because the midweek late kick offs are too late for kids that are aged 9 and 6 ….however if we are really saying that the atmosphere is reliant on under 14’s then we really do have a problem don’t we ?

Has anyone considered that the measures to make Football grounds a “nice environment” has actually neutralised the atmosphere ?
The Leeds, blues and particularly the dingles games were really good for atmosphere…anybody think it is literally down to the fact that the gloves were off?, play the liquidator, chant at the opposition fans wind each other up….
Today away at Stoke, a really good atmosphere in the away end…and once they had scored they added to it …lots of chanting, noise and general banter…..maybe not so many people texting the number on the big screen in case some naughty person had said something that makes poor didums upset because they wanted to identify has a cross dressing giraffe …..

Maybe just maybe the do-Gooders have eroded the fun ?

Interesting that we have this thread, but a number of posters have referred to other teams new stadiums as “soulless bowls”
It’s the fans that make the atmosphere…not the stadium designers.

I think any fan base would be exactly like ours and saying “one game at a time” and “don’t do numerical addition of those farm based egg layers yet”
But
We are actually in quite a strong position and not only should we be fine for the top 6…but I can’t see any team looking forward to playing us .
Saints may have beat us twice…third time lucky
Leeds/Ipswich/Leicester whoever doesn’t get autos will need some serious head fixing before putting the boots on again..
And those that finish below us …..well cov are the ones that concern me the most , went to Wembley last season, going again in the fa semi…..if they win that and get to the play off final that’ll be 4 visits in 12 months…that experience alone must be worth something ..

Anyway …with everything considered with ownership, players off form,a stupendous injury list and some rather flat atmospheres at games …..we ain’t done too bad…book the bloody hotels I say.

We’re on our way ……

20
Has he assisted a goal since he’s been here?
I couldn’t care less if he keeps his goals to minutes ratio that he has at the moment ….
Fulham have already been to watch him twice, how good does he have to be to be too good for us to have a chance of signing him….he ain’t perfect….but non of them are .

21
I think we’re finally seeing the player Celtic fans described when we first signed him. Greedy, dribbles in the wrong areas of the pitch, doesn’t track back and has no footballing intelligence whatsoever.
Thank god
All those cut backs, skinning defenders like they weren’t there and fantastic finishes meant I was starting to think that he had already payed us for the loan fee..
There just has to be something to moan about doesn’t there ?

Chelsea are getting by using every accounting trick in the book. It wouldn't surprise me if they were charged a few years down the line for all the loopholes they're exploiting.

Forest has one charge and it took months to resolve. Everton have had two and they've taken even longer. How long do you think it's going to take to make 115 stick against City's expensive lawyers? City will end up making a plea deal to make it all go away.
City won’t get done …

It was very entertaining watching them implode at the Island Inn. In truth Coventry should have had that game wrapped up long before the end but then the agony wouldn't have been so bad for the Wolves supporters as they'd have had time to mentally prepare themselves.

As it was that must have been utterly gutting for them. Raised a very big smile for me especially in the light of Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now Dawson's comments after our game with them but if that had been the Vile losing in such circumstances the roof would have come off at our table.
When Swansea knocked them out the cup after they had already sold tickets for the next match 😂😂😂

I agree.

I would have this team:

Palmer
Furlong
Bartley
Kipre
Townsend
Mowatt
Yokuslu
Johnston
Fellows
Wallace
BTA

And I don't see any reason why we can't jag all three points with the international break to get rid of any niggling injuries.

Palmer

Furlong
Bartley
Kipre
Townsend

Johnstone.
Mowatt
Chalobah
Fellows
Swift

BTA

I think Diangana has been quite frustrating and needs to come out,Wallace to have a rest ,Yokuslu also to test the legs…
It gives us quite a formidable bench if we need it and hopefully the ones that sit out will want to come on and show what they have.

Think he has been one of our most consistent and best performers for this season. I think if it hadn't been for the form of kipre and the central midfield pairing he would be getting more praise.

He does have limitations as a footballer but he is an athlete and good in the air.
I think the difference between pre Christmas and since has been noticeable.
Can never doubt his energy but he has certainly improved of late.
