I think I would go:

Foster

Nyom
Hegazi
Evans
Gibbs

Livermore
Yacob
Field

Phillips
Rondon
Rodriguez

Bench: Myhill, McAuley, Brunt, Krychowiak, McLean, Burke, Robson-Kanu

Swansea have been particularly vulnerable in the full back areas this season. I think playing an inverted winger on the left and creating space for Gibbs to gallop forward along with Phillips on the right to run at the left back is a good approach to start the game. I am not best pleased with the mix of three in the middle however we have limited options and Krychowiak has been out of favour so wouldn't be right to throw him in. This line-up gives a few options on the bench too.

I am actually looking forward to seeing the team that Pardew picks tomorrow and it's shape. He's had a full week of training with them so hopefully it's something a bit different than the three in the middle which frankly hasn't worked all season in my opinon.

While I agree the 3 in the middle hasn't worked much so far I'd argue it's been due in large part to those 3 being too defensive. Krycho/Fields have shown that they can play in either side of the halfway line and they could have some freedom to get forward with a true bulldog behind them lile Yacob.

Otherwise I could see going with the lineup setee suggested

I would be happy with that but have a feeling one of Rodriguez or HRK will retain their place up top with Rondon.

            Foster

Nyom/Hegazi/Evans/Gibbs

Phillips Field Yacob Brunt

     Rondon Rodriguez
I would be very happy with that line up!!

I'd switch Greg fro Yacob and that would be the side I would pick as you can flex the team about a bit and drop JRod to the wing if need be. Can't see Livermore getting dropped though and Yacob has been goon when he's played.

Tulloch's a 16 year-old England U17 international striker apparently. Phillips has failed a fitness test - full line-up is:

Foster, Nyom, Hegazi, Evans, Gibbs, Robson-Kanu, Livermore, Yacob, Field, Rodriguez, Rondon

Subs: Myhill, McAuley, Krychowiak, Brunt, McClean, Burke, Tulloch

Cheers. Says he's been playing Checkatrade Trophy matches for us in the U23s, despite being 16!

probably not fit enough! hes been out for several weeks and the fact that we have a 16 year old on the bench shows how threadbare we are at the moment.

However I'm optimistic, COYB

Jake Livermore and Hal Robson-Kanu both starting again is worrying.

Surely Krychowiak has to come in for Livermore?

Any of Brunt/Phillips/Chadli/Morrison/Burke in for Robson-Kanu when fit.

You'd have thought so, but maybe Krychowiak hasn'y yet shown enough in training to make AP think that he ought to put him in the starting XI?

Any of Brunt/Phillips/Chadli/Morrison/Burke in for Robson-Kanu when fit.
I'm sure one of them will replace Robson-Kanu as soon as they're regarded as match fit. I agree with the previous post which says that Brunt hasn't started because he isn't match fit.
