Even before seeing the Leeds result i think we could see a very changed side. Assuming Diangana doesn't make it tomorrow i'd be looking at something like...

Sold roughly about 1,800, not going to be a big crow dfor this one. Charlton havent opened one of the stands, and the top tiers in both other stands arent open either.

I think the 3rd and 4th round still have 1 replay but then from the 5th its straight knockout on the day with all games midweek, not 100% sure though

Yep that's correct.

Replays until after round 4, then round 5 onwards are settled on the day.

I think Albions long term future will be better served by being in the PL as much as possible rather than potentially getting to the QF's of a cup and losing.

As was mine, yours was a personal opinions, that I respect.

But I just feel a good cup run would boost everyoneâ€™s moral and confidence and that could only benefit our league performances and allow fringe players an opportunity to get game minutes under their belts to the benefit of the club

Ps it would also provide much needed revenue

I hate to see us throw the cup games. And I dont advocate wholesale changes but we definitely need to rest Phillips periera and Livermore. Periera and Livermore have played so much recently so need taking out. If we lost periera to injury we would fall like a stone.

Phillip's was blowing out his backside today after a hour. Semi also due a rest he hasnt stopped.My team would be:

Charlton still have to play tomorrow and are injury ravaged while now in a relegation scrap. There is no way they don't rest players for this game, which allows us to rest them and still expect to win.

I'd like to see 11 changes if possible (with Townsend starting being one possible exception).

Not sure how best to make it fit or what Bilic will do as we do have a lot of central midfielders needing game time, but i'd also like to see some youth kids get a chance, even if from the bench.

Don't expect to see Willock, he would have been involved by now if we were going to use him. Instead, maybe have Tulloch start? Or even Brunt out wide?

He might be tempted to start Krov who is still ultimately a squad player but that's up to him. Personally i'd look at giving Harper some time in the middle with Barry.

Ferguson is injured. Otherwise, why not pick a team similar to this?
