It might actually be a decent deal for West Ham. Sounds like the add ons take it up to Â£20m. If he succeeds, maybe they dp actually get the right sort of money out of it.

i remember reading that and not taking it too seriously, as i just couldn't see West Ham willing to sell to a rival bottom half team and certainly not within an affordable value. However, they must need the money to fund the purchase of some more Moyes type PL ready players? I'd carry Grady from London back here myself but he may not quite fit into the Moyes plan and cannot be considered PL ready in the same way as HB was. Moyes remit was to keep them up last year but much more will be expected this season and there will be little room for players to develop.

Just waiting for another team to come in and gazump us but hoping the Slav factor is actually a contributing factor.

The deal is fine depending on what triggers the add-ons. My only concern is how it fits with the team as a whole and what else we are able to do this window.

4 or 5 starters and the loanees returning was always fanciful particularly if Diangana was signed permanently.

I'd imagine Dianaganas on about 25k at WHU as a prospect.

As a first teamer in the PL I'd guess 30-40k pw would be the going rate as not PL proven.
