I am nervous about this game, we will be subjected to a pressing game that undid us last season and we can expect no less tonight.

This is why I would be starting Zohore or Robson-Kanu so that we can put the ball down the channels on occasion too.

I've never forgotten what a dirty side Leeds were in the Don Revie era. Clough was right when he said Leeds players had cheated their way to their medals. I was just watching again with joy the game when very controversially we beat them 2-1 at their place April 1971 - a result which cost them the title.  It was massive news at the time. Check out Youtube if you're too young to remember.

I was at that match and feared for my safety on leaving the ground, their fans were vile and even smashed every pane of glass to the clubs main entrance.

It robbed them of the title and was our first and, I think, only away win of that season, I was chuffed when I reached the safety of the West Midlands with my fellow support that day,  the late, “Big” Jim Holton

Agreed. They were the first team I saw who did timewasting, passing back to the keeper to pick up, lots of niggling fouls in a very professional way. In some ways they were a forerunner of Pulis, although they were more dirty and to be fair, they had a couple of players who were genuinely  talented. But ever since, I've never liked Leeds.

Whilst I agree with the sentiment, let’s not forget that we took Johnny Giles from that team and he created the revolution that took us out of Div 2 and was the springboard for the best team I have seen under Big Ron......

I was there too 12 years old and petrified, then when we played them 1st game of season, 1976? and we went 2-0 up,   we drew 2-2 and it was still vile, Horrible fans !

Alleged incident of aggravated racial abuse by a Leeds player against our player Jon Leko being investigated by the FA.

This could overshadow the game tonight imo.

Giles brought alot of the organistation he learned under Revie, but I've heard stories that Giles was no angel himself in that Leeds team.

Giles had a real nasty streak, if I remember correctly he had a on the pitch dust up with Bremner at one point. He also sorted Keegan out in the charity sheild, great right hook !

Got Radio Leeds on, my god they are arrogant! Apparently Leeds should be 5 points clear in the League, Albion barely mentioned, Leeds are an amazing side. Have to beat this lot!

Same here. The coppers were nowhere to be seen as the rocks rained onto the coaches. Very scary for a teenager.

Thought it was funny that Danny Higginbottom was having to use the display machine, and when Tone was explaining his set up against Leeds, DH moved the striker into defence, only to be corrected by Tone. A Freudian slip there methinks.

Leeds aren’t taking any prisoners. They are lucky to get away with only one yellow card so far. Having said that we are generally rather lightweight to deal with some robust challenges.
