Leicester and Coventry already into last 8 , Southampton and Leeds still have a chance of doing so. FA Cup Final is the day before Champioship play off final . Any of these make it to both what happens ?

It would be nice to think one could make it, but without being a conspiracy theorist, it's probably already decided that 2 big premier teams make it!

yup, of those left it’s high odds it’ll be two of Chelsea/Man City/Man Utd/Liverpool in the final just like every other year.

I don’t dispute the fact it is unlikely but it serves to highlight the incompetence of the suits running the professional game they could leave themselves open to the possibility of it happening !

Wouldn’t want to predict the top 2 now - Leicester with3 defeats on the trot , Ipswich on a surge apart from when they met us , Leeds not able to beat 10 men over 52 minutes and Southampton 5 points off second. It’s all in the mix. Just a shame we gave so many points away to be able to challenge

Not so good results for us today. Could have done without Norwich taking 3 points and Southampton's last minute winner. However, Coventry have probably dropped out of the chase now.

Would rather Leeds, Leicester and Southampton keep winning now. Fancy our best shot over two legs against Ipswich

Yep

Ipswich are massive overachievers. Don't fear them in the slightest

We are in the last quarter of the season and virtually every team in the Championship has something to play for.

relegation Rotherham are doomed but every other club down there has a shot at getting out of it and as such Watford in 12th are only 6 points above the drop zone. With 50 points not being a guarantee of safety a lot of teams will be looking over their shoulders.

Play-offs With the top 4 being someway ahead of the rest there is the usual scramble for a play-off spot. Realistically it is two places from WBA, Hull, Norwich, Coventry and Preston. Either Cardiff or Sunderland could make a late charge but for that to happen they have to really pull up trees and 2 of the teams ahead of have to implode.

Automatic Promotion Barely a fortnight ago it looked like Leicester were home and hosed. Since then they have managed to lose 3 on the spin which is a mighty wobble. Lose on Tuesday to Sunderland who themselves are in terrible form and it's a full blown crisis. I still fully expect them to at least get one of the top two places. However if they drop into the play-off places there is no way they are going to win the play-offs. Otherwise it is a 3 way fight for one place between Ipswich, Leeds and Southampton.

It is never dull and a lot could change by this time next week.

That's covered by the sale of ward-prowse and Livermento I think, but hopefully this season's loss is much bigger and they
and  their greasy manager is still in the championship next season.

The report also said certain figures indicated they don't have many players on flex down so they should still deliver a whopping loss on this season too when all said and done

That's even better.

Hopefully, if we make the play offs we can beat them so next season will be worse for them.

Obviously wanted Blues to at least get a draw with Hull, but I hope Mogga makes a speedy recovery but decides to go back after they are mathematically relegated (ideally along with Stoke) under the dingle.

It will be interesting to see when they are in the relegation zone if their inept Americans will sack Mogga whilst he's on sick leave, to appoint Lampard or someone of his ilk.

I reckon they'll stick with him after the disaster that was Rooney. You can't blame him if they're relegated after his illness. Bizarrely, Rooney was being interviewed by his pals recently saying he didn't get a chance at Blues and how he wanted to manage Man Utd in 10 years...absolutely delusional stuff.

Overall a good night seeing as Blues took a point off Hull. I know Cov won but they were always going to.
