Very talented but inconsistent. He's available on a free at end of season but will be 30 by then.
Indeed …I’d leave it now as we need to build for the future ,but he would have been an asset the last couple of seasons .

Yes i don't think he fits in with Bilkul's strategy but could be wrong.

Top 4 are relentless. Jeez.

Getting promoted via play offs going to be very very tough task for anyone who finishes 5th or 6th.

There's clearly a top 4 now that we cannot catch. We therefore have two positions to play for and the team we are competing hardest with beat us fairly comfortably yesterday and have done the double over us now.

Potentially there are  several teams fighting for that last remaining play off spot. I do think we have a chance of getting it, however it will be a difficult task and then winning the play offs seems incredibly unlikely.

We have to focus on our long term plan and hope we might get lucky one year. Losing Corberan , Maja's injury and Dikes injury setbacks have really made this year a challenge.

Unless I’ve missed it,haven’t seen anyone mention that debacle with Sunderland’s second goal the other day?
Goal ruled offside after the 4th official told the ref in his earpiece ,which is obviously not within the rules
A slight side note,he clearly wasn’t offside .

Officials in this country are getting worse

I assumed it was for the foul in the build up rather than offside?

In the write up I read,it stated that there’s had told the player it was for offside …
No flag,Ref had pointed to the centre …then holds his earpiece = chalked off..

Latte Lath went off in 11th minute for Boro, assuming injury.

If it's a bad one then any potential deal probably scuppered

Burnley-Leeds 0-0. Fair result for 2 good teams who we will shortly need to go to. Leeds more attacking flair, but Burnley defence don't give much away.

Attacking flair? Did you see how many times their centre backs passed it between themselves? Repeatedly? I'm all for a bit of shifting the opposition around but that was just ridiculous. First and only attempt on target in the 89th minute. Attacking flair?
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

I take your point Dan, but it's all relative really. Just thought Leeds had more flair players with James and Tanaka, whereas Burnley don't have any exciting players. Still recovering from Sean Dyche. Maybe I'm just too easily pleased.  ;D

Question: When is an attacking player not an attacking player?

Answer: When the attacking player isn't given the ball to attack  ;D .

All true, but Scott Parker had a break from his chewing gum, to make a few good points about Leeds being attack-minded.

They may have been attack minded in his head but they definitely weren't attacking where it mattered to Leeds's supporters. On the pitch and on the day.

I imagine Parker will do whatever it takes to deflect against his horrendous football and negative tactics.

They have played 14 home games this season and 7 of them have been 0-0.

Any idea as to his thoughts about the other six teams in that sequence being attack minded?

Portsmouth lose 1-0 to Millwall. Their gaffers gamble failed.
