Had a chuckle at one of the posts on the BBC website after news that Food Standards Agency gave Man Utd 1 star after finding undercooked meat in their catering.  "one star food, one star football!"

Anyone seen the Willy Boly second yellow card yesterday for Nottm Forest?

Strewth.

I’m not sure what you can do when the ref’s judgement is as bad as that, other than put a big drive into training and recruiting more talented people into the role.

The case for binning VAR bought home by this , because it was for a yellow card albeit a second one VAR couldn’t intervene . If it can’t be used when it’s need what bloody hell is the point of it ! >:( >:( >:(

Surely that's a case for tweaking it to include any sendings off.  I also think that if the VAR people can't decide that the ref's decision is not a clear and obvious error within 15 seconds then it obviously is not clear and not obvious and the decision stays with the on-field ref.

The decision was diabolical and VAR can’t look at yellows but that just seems so ridiculous. In its current state it isn’t fit for purpose

And thank God they found their fight tonight.

I thought it was the correct decision, Bailey was offside at the top of the screen and it could also have been disallowed for a foul by Lenglet on Danjuma as he was holding him down

Nuno Espirito Santo has been forced to scrap a team bonding trip to St. George’s Park after becoming the latest Premier League manager to demand FA Cup replays be abolished.

Nottingham Forest will face a replay against League One side Blackpool next week after a 2-2 draw which has left Nuno with no option but to abandon his plans over the winter break.

The Premier League is so up itself, here's an idea either play a team to win the match at the outset or don't enter the FA Cup, it's been messed around enough already the teams lower down badly need the income that these matches provide.

Premier league teams without Europe barely ever play midweek, the idea they particularly need breaks is silly on the first place. It was why it was always particularly galling when we were in the premier and would play reserve teams and be knocked out of cups when we could hardly be suffering from fixture congestion
