Fans are going bananas on socials. Fan groups talking about boycotts. Rivalry aside, long standing working fans will be priced out and be replaced by day trippers and casual fans.

131% price hikes for disabled fans in the North Bank...! Other parts of the ground up 60-70% in places. Pretty rank.

And I don't blame them.
It doesn't matter how many resources you have.
If you don't know how to use them, they will never be enough.

It’s crazy and highlights again that football PLC has taken over the game that was once for the average person. Why would people pay close on £1,000 to watch a team that won’t finish above midtable and may struggle? It’s becoming like most professional sport where the outcome is almost predetermined. Most Wolves fans would admit they have watched pretty bland performances for quite a while.

It is also crazy because the huge price hike will increase their overall revenue by less than 10%, alienating fans so they can buy one more mediocre (by Prem standards) player

Those increases are utterly outrageous and so short sighted. It also implies that adult matchday tickets are going to be well North of £50. If they struggle attendances will decline markedly even if they manage to get their season tickets sold which has to be doubtful.

It's madness but if they've priced it too high, then the ground will be half empty, and then they'll drop them.
If the ground is too full, then there's enough people willing to pay that stupid price.

No longer the working man's game it seems, all hospitality and pandering to TV/streaming/worldwide audiences, until the big 6 bugger off into a European superleague!
I wish this would hurry up and happen and let the rest of us get on with it!

I get your sentiment but this for me is the bigger picture. If a lower/midtable club are charging this where is the game going? If we ever get promoted we would suffer the same prices. The sport is changing and not for the better.

The game went a long, long time ago.

If they donkeys like Silva for £40m this is the price they pay.

They give it large, now they are paying the price for those errors in the transfer market.

No one makes anybody buy a ST, they want the the big money stars, and this is what the price is as their owners cannot subside it because of FFP.

I just cannot believe the uproar on here about what is happening at their rented venue.

They have a history of overspending, hence the tenancy agreement and subsided £1 year rent.

I will be more worried when this happens at well run clubs like Brentford and fake Albion.

Wolves have stated that they guarantee season ticket prices won't rise for the 25/26 season, will remain at 24/25 season prices to try and calm the fan base. It's finding the money in the first place at those prices though.

I know it's petty but Wolves are allegedly signing a £12.7m Portuguese player called Rodrigo Gomes on a 5 year contract but I suspect he's a free transfer and the £12.7m is his wages. It's all smoke and mirrors and I look forward to their further decline......

Morning. Excuse my ignorance but why would Braga let a £12.7M player join Wolves for nothing?

I'm probably just jealous and am trying to pee on their chips. I was looking last night and a foreign site said his contract was up at the end of this month hence free. But I'm not going to look for a link now ......

From the BBC website:Wolves have agreed a five-year deal with Braga for Portuguese under-21 winger Rodrigo Gomes.

The 20-year-old is due to have a medical later this week before signing a long-term contract to 2029 worth 15m euros (£12.7m
