I'm looking forward to getting back down the Albion this Saturday, but it will seem a little different on two points. Firstly the kick off time is at 5.30 pm. and I can't remember the last time we played Ipswich.

They are doing well after their promotion and although the game is televised I should imagine they have sold all their tickets. But, we need to bounce back after the defeat on the south coast last week. Can we, I hope so. COYB

Hopefully we have Swift and Maja back too. That will mean we are only missing Kelly, Reach and Dike i think

Hope you’re right about the returning players. I think it may be a couple more games.

Just before the break CC said he was hopeful for them both so I'm trying to stay positive on the injury front.

Looking forward to this game but also nervous. If Swifty starts and looks like the player he did before his injury then we will be in luck. I would hope for a draw on table merit, but I would love all 3 points. COYB

I was supposed to go away campervanning for three days.. starting tomorrow. The temperature has plummeted, so sod that. Down the bar for the game instead. If my Ipswich mate turns up, even better. Now I'm well up for it. COYB

I think there's a feeling of holding your breath / calm before the storm for some of us.
We're not sure who's really fit or who can play 30 mins or even who's in he right frame of mind.

Really looking forward to the game if not the kickoff time. Currently sat in a Villa pub and having happy vibes with a bit of UB40 in the background having enjoyed the Dudley Beer Festival and the delights of the Dubliners in Dudley (I really enjoyed the Dubliners, good people, cheap beer and a bit of karaoke which thankfully didn't involve my dulcet tones

Ipswich won't finish 2nd, Leeds will finish 2nd so let's look at Ipswich as a Play Off Rival which in that case means we need to get a Win at home COYB It will be a Cracking game that will either be really tight, or us hopefully winning easily like 3/4-0 likewise they could do the same. I really don't know but It is winnable Ipswich aren't going to stay in the Automatic Promotion spots forever

Bench is looking healthier. I guess some minutes later in the second half for Swift and Maja.

I mean The Full backs have been our weakness for sometime but Townsend does like to go forward, Furlong is useful for long throws. we are lacking at least Swifty can come on and try do something, Leeds also drew yesterday and I'm not sure how Leicester are doing if there losing Ipswich will be wanting to go top they have Watford, so hopefully Leicester are beating them COYB I Don't want to predict It is a game I am really looking forward to but also really nervous about. It will be tight COYB UTA

I don’t think there can be any doubts in my trust in the manager. But Townsend over Pieters is never the right call despite how limited Pieters is, Townsend cannot defend

Puts Watford 5 points behind us before we play in 14th and them 3 clear of Ipswich, Preston are now in 5th and Hull are drawing in 6th. So This is a good opportunity to make a few moves. Also really shows what miracles Carlos has done. My only concern is the International Break came after we lost. But we did loose to Blues the one before and then went on our good run

I used to moan about the full-backs at times when we were in the Prem, or just relegated and expected to get promoted again. It is what it is now. No more parachute payments and we do our best with the squad we have. The bench is looking stronger which bodes well. Should be an interesting game.
