Who started this walking up to the ball on the penalty spot? Trying to be all smart and it looks daft when fails - just like the Man U penalty today as well

Lowest we can finish now is 17th. No point looking up the table.

Grant,Phillips and zohore epitomise everything wrong with our club
Grant had one good season at this level scoring 19 goals of which 4 were penalties
Offers nothing in build up play looks unfit and overweight
Zohore can't even be bothered to get fit
Phillips hibernates every season when it's cold lacking bottle and now also what pace he had
How Bruce expected to create anything with that midfield today is beyond me.
And for God sake ditch the 5 at the back we don't have a single wing back at the club
We have a player on the bench who cost us 18 million and at least on occasion looks a spark in diangana
Surely we should be looking to get him on the left where he can get one v one with a full back and create things. Either that or send him on loan next season to get some confidence back into him under a manager who knows how to use him rather than play a formation we don't have the players for or is scared to drop consistent underperformers to shoehorn players into a formation we can't play ie grant on the left and Robinson or diangana on the right
Bruce is too negative with no tactical nous
My friend is Newcastle fan and said he always starts with 7 or 8 defensive players and when he needs a goal just throws as many attacking players as he can on with no formation of structure

Dull game, uneventful, no quality from either side.

Not much else to say that hasn't already been said time and again this season.

Had chance’s to win but Grant fluffed his lines twice better at acting like a baby than actually what he’s paid for.

We’re not very good are we chaps...

Gave the game a miss today but on the plus side my doors have dried beautifully and it was a pleasure watching them do so.

Worst season I can remember for a long time, well done Mr Lai👏

The players have been very quiet for some time now. No post match interview comments etc. Does the club put a ban on them speaking to the press when they are playing so badly. I would love an honest assessment of what’s gone wrong from key players.

But those players should be playing for their futures at the club. Some for their careers. If that won’t motivate them then nothing will.

In my 53rd season as a STH, I spoke with at least 20 friends at the game today and 9 told me that they will not be renewing, - this in the East Stand central area. It is terrible to see so many empty seats in the Brummie and the Smethwick ends, and sad to say I think that will be the status quo for next season at least.
The game was as dull as dishwater. I was staggered to see the man who called the manager " a ******* P***k start the game, but not surprised when he missed from a straightforward one on one with the keeper , or in injury time when he missed the penalty that would have given us an undeserved win.
I despair over our choice of manager, and have no "connection" with any of our players.
I will be renewing , and hope that one day I will be able to fall out of love with this great club.

This also for me. As a fan, I don’t ask for much: I don’t expect champagne football; I don’t expect to dominate every game; and I don’t expect to score 3 or 4 goals every other game.

All I want is a committed squad that represents our club and to have a genuine ‘like’ for the players that represent us, the fans. I can count those players on one hand...

I’ve only got Valencia in the Copa del Rey final tonight to give me something to smile about this season. I’m expecting that to go pear shaped as well.

Same old same old. At least we got a clean sheet after Mondays absolute rubbish. I would say roll on next season but that may be an exaggeration.

Lost on penalties. It’s been an exciting last 20 years. Goodnight !
