We offer nothing in transition in the middle, we are really poor up front and at the back we are flakey.

We need a January squad rotation with one eye on the championship next season because this squad will not bring us back out.

Yep.  Maybe in terms of overall player quality, but it's a really badly assembled squad. 

Picking a game at random from the 12/13 season we played:

B Foster, B Jones, G McAuley, G Popov yellow card, J Olsson, J Morrison, Z Gera (S Long, 62), C Brunt, G Dorrans (M Fortune, 45), P Odemwingie, R Lukaku (G Tamas, 85)

Not convinced we can put out an XI much better than that, and look at how many familiar faces are there.  That was bloody FIVE years ago!

I've never got the hype over Greg - he's not been good enough to warrant a start. I think Rondon and Evans are the only 2 with any real quality.

Shocking so far.  I don't see what Pardew is bringing to the table here. We are just as badly set up and just as badly lacking in imagination.  We don't need all 3 defensive midfielders on.  I remember people saying they'd rather see us go down playing good football, we're not even seeing that.

They are too alike, but he's the best player of the three by an absolute mile imho.  Stick a box to box midfielder next to him and a number 10 in front of him I think he'll absolutely thrive.

I agree mate, but I don't think we have the money to do that so let's reinvest his wages elsewhere as can't see people queuing up to sign Livermore! Pulis has left us in an awful position with nothing in the middle to drive the team forward. Balance is all wrong
