We'll do well to keep it at 3-0. It's going to be a long night.

I’m relatively relaxed about it. If we go down then so be it. Least there will be some enjoyment.

Are Sunderland and Hull fans enjoying The Championship this season?

Roy was always going to keep Palace up. It's the three promoted teams plus Swansea and West Ham who will be in the mix with us.

It makes me nervous that he's out of a job. We are in a relegation battle and the last thing we need is one of our rivals appointing the man who has never been relegated.

Palace winning 2-1, we are in the bottom three.

I am not as despondent as other posters on here.

Just need a start to get going, why not against Liverpool.

Can't see it at all. In fact if we don't lose against Liverpool I'll never post on here again.

I'd play Phillips in the Odemwingie role
He's quick enough, clever enough and direct enough..

Pardew will hopefully play Phillips in his natural position on the wing, I don't think Pardew will fancy him up top.

Who knows maybe we'll finally get some luck.

I just can't see anything other than a comfortable Liverpool win.

HRK should only ever be a squad player ..if that
McLean I actually like the energy and if removed defensive duties then there should be no risk

We need to find a way out of current so how about

                          Foster
          Hegazi.      Dawson.    Evans
  Brunt.               Yacob.             Gibbs

            Greg.                 McLean

                  Rodriguez.    Phillips

Brunt and Gibbs would run all day for us, both can deliver a cross and overlap
Phillips can score, has pace and power , McLean going forward is different to a defensive McLean and Greg should have the Cali record to do a job once the shackles are off .

Brunt as a right wing back? McClean as a center midfielder? Phillips up front? No Rondon our best striker? Not sure this would work.

We always listen to new ides, unfortunately some are not viable or have been discussed before and are not going to happen.

I've got some more ideas up my sleeve to present to you soon, I'll get back to you.

I have to admit I'm usually positive about us but at the moment I just can't see anything to be positive about.  :-[

It's going to be a long season.

It was locked as it was explained why we are not going to be putting one on. Are you on a deliberate wind up to see how far you can push us ?

I'll end this discussion here then. I just think being a bit open to new ideas for the forum wouldn't be a bad thing.

They even put the likes of Coutinho and Firmino on the bench today. It's going to be a real struggle.

It isn't our best PL squad ever which I keep hearing, our forward department is the weakest we've had since getting promoted. We still have enough quality however to stay in the division, we just can't afford our key players to be out for too long. We've been unlucky with injuries this season.

City are just brilliant and will fully deserve to be champions. No way can you see them slipping up, they have the strength in depth and will blow most teams away. Mourinho still needs a few top players to compete with City, United just haven't got the quality and depth City have.

Why was the Like Button thread locked? Are we not allowed to debate certain issues to do with the forum?

Maybe have a poll to see if people are interested in a like button. And then get the ball rolling.  8)

Pulis will cost us . Should have been sacked in the summer. I never want to watch that rubbish football ever again, I hope he never ever gets another top flight job again

He'll be back some day. Any team struggling in the bottom three will make Pulis their first call.

Its been discussed before but no chance sorry.

Also thinking of removing post counts from this board as well.  8)

I meant to quote you but removed your last post, sorry. (Didn't know I could do that)  ;D

No problem anyway.

Why not though? I think it would be a useful addition. Instead of quoting posts and replying "agreed" you would just like the post.

perhaps we haven't told Liverpool in an attempt to score our first goal for a while!

We would still miss

I agree with you 100% as you say if he's in the box he will score that's where he should be, not out wide!

He played out wide for Southampton. Let's just be honest he isn't very good and Southampton a team who struggled to score goals last season got rid when he was fourth choice.
