Pressure off and the boys are playing. Shame it's too late due to pressure being off

Pretty much as expected.

I imagine Luton will have too much desire and effort for our seniors to be bothered with.

Come on Gaz don’t you remember it from after Euro 1996?

Ooh yes i remember that one. Thanks.

Sorry Balis, thought it was a modern reference i've missed.

EDIT - Dan only just saw your post, excellent word play!

Some posters seem to have forgotten that although we have nothing to play for; Luton are still involved in a relegation battle so if we fielded a number of kids and they won then the last relegated team could argue that we'd fielded a weak side.

That's what Mozza alluded too. He could still play 1 though wihtout a fuss.

How weird! I'm strangely dour and boring to most I meet, but never been on TV. 😁

Bet you would be charismatic if you were  ;D

Okay, cheers Gaz. I don't expect "many" but I do expect a couple to get some minutes. We shall see, but I don't have much confidence in the decision making of Morrison - seems too much one of the boys for my liking. On that basis, I expect to see Bartley, Mowatt and Grant all starting.

Would very much like to see old guard moved on, both on a d off pitch.

Did he actually say that? If true, that is shameful from Morrison. If ever there was an opportunity to blood a couple of the best youngsters, even for half an hour, this is it.

Not literally those words but he said don't expect many youth involved. Same as game before i'd imagine, Whitwell on bench and not used.

E+S article said maybe Parker or Mohammed may make squad but i think that's their opinion.

Anyone going to stick around for the appreciation lap?  ;D

Womens team deserve some support when they do their H/T lap but the seniors can suck it.

Southgate is a bureaucrat, he wouldn't last five minutes in the cut and thrust of this league.

He comes across really dour and boring on TV but when i met him he was strangely charismatic.

If there's a stupid decision that needs making without much thought, we will be there at the forefront

 From Mozza presser:

Maja is training on grass and doing well but won't be played

Dike should play more than 15-20 mins.

No one will be picked on sentiment, assume Ajayi, Swift and Grady

Bany and Jayson are ok.

Wallace a doubt.

Don't expect to see many youngsters involved.

I'm led to believe he was more than interested in the role when Valencia landed their new manager and he wanted out from Blackburn. Said to be very happy at Derby.

Yep, he wanted the Midlands. Believe his agent was throwing his name into our hat without asking. Nestor however wanted a Corberan-Lite so employed Mowbray  :-X

he's this generations Pulis at Stoke for us, his teams are way too physical for us and always seem to beat us.

He's a squeezer. Which is what this club needs for me. Like I say though, doubt he would be popular here.

Champo manager of the year for me is John Eustace but I don't think a lot of Albion fans would be happy with him

I would quite like a manager who picks the correct players and plays them in the correct positions.

That will never catch on!

And people thought Cifuentes was bad.

Very risk appointment.

Wilshere is very well liked by the Norwich bosses apparently. Will be reasonably cheap to pay off in the event of failure I guess but risky like you say
