I suppose its what you would like DDDD style under CC or WLWL style under Mowbray
4 points or 6 ???

We clearly have too many, saying some have limitations / issues / leaving, that doesn't mean they are not here and we are paying them.
So yes too many but as stated that will be remedieid (largely) in the summer.

https://www.wba.co.uk/news/hawthorns-host-fa-youth-cup-quarter-final-clash-manchester-city

Albion Under-18s will play Manchester City at The Hawthorns in their FA Youth Cup quarter-final tie on Thursday, February 27 (ko 7pm).

Leigh Downing's young group set up their last-eight clash after defeating Norwich City 4-2 in East Anglia.

So far, including their last victory over the Canaries, the Baggies' 18s have won three matches in the competition - starting off their run with a 6-4 AET triumph over Harrogate Town prior to beating Stoke City 2-0 at the bet365 Stadium.

But their next battle in B71 will present their toughest task yet, with City's starlets beating Leeds United 6-1 in the previous round to set up their date at The Hawthorns.

As a consequence of this particular match being confirmed, Albion's PL2 fixture against Sunderland will now be rearranged. That game was scheduled to be played on Monday, March 3. New details will be confirmed at the earliest possible opportunity.

Hope we are playing on clouds and cotton wool !

9am in the Billiard Hall is standard practice looking at the state of some of them in there! :) I had a couple then 'upgraded' to The Sandwell for a free Bacon Sarnie and Cruzcampo for £2.75 a pint!

I think the fact we have let so many leads slip in the dying minutes lately, also compounded my beer factors! :)

£2.75 for a pint and a butty, now thats a bargain!

Leyton Orient 1-0 up against Man City chipped the keeper via the Bar from the halfway line, Leicester City robbed yesterday 4 players offside including Maguire for the Utd winner

Anyone seeing the still of that has to think there is corruption in the game. An absolute disgrace

TMs way of protecting a lead is to get another goal !!
That was kind of my point, that we are now set up far better for TM footy

Goals per game isn't the only measure, we should also consider assists and the ability to draw defenders / create space for others

It has only just struck me how well the 5 sub thing can now work for us, if we are chasing a game we now have the resources to go full on at tiring defenses.
Protecting a lead will be challenging but I don't think TM will be worrying about that too much

Given the constraints the club has to work within, I would say very good, but if we had offloaded any of the high earners it would have been brilliant, sadly that is incumbent upon Stoke having yet another charity purchasing spree

Amplifying the kick in the nethers that was stealing defeat from the jaws of victory away to Plymouth. We really can’t afford too many (if any) more wasted opportunities like the weekend gone given how tight things are.

Given TMs approach, I think we will have a few steelies in the Nads before the season is done.  As long as its tempered with more 3 pointers than CC was achieving that will do for me.

Lifted this from the gAs site,

He's a great shot stopper and safe pair of gloves where his save seems to stick in there.....but I think he has to do some more work on his distribution and command of area, especially at set pieces

Is this a trait of our coaching???

Given the incoming loans and signings it is criminal that Harry Whitwell and Ollie Bostock are not going out on loan.
Or TM is sufficiently impressed to think they can push to play?

Swift and Wallace should be nowhere near the first 11 now !my opinion I would play diakite in the defensive midfielder position with moloumby because they have the legs to get up and down the pitch and mop up in front the back 4!

I have to agree with this, they are the new "yac / molumbu axis" not on a par but.......

Think this would be the set up that I'd go with but Mowbray has put a lot of love into Diangana and cannot afford to throw him out after two games. On that basis he'll start ahead of Swift in my view.

please reconsider that statement, my eyes are watering at the thought !

Could be that we hope the Spurs lad is enough to spearhead an attack in the interim.

I completed the 10k in 61 mins which is slow by my standards and 8 mins behind my finish time for the same race last year but I’m coming back from a 6 month foot and tendon issue.

no excuse, Dike will be expected to hit the ground running post injuries (by our armchair pundits) therefore so should you !!  Stop making excuses and pay attention please.

Deary me.

Very short at back now. Assume Bartley must be fit or we are close to signing someone.
Surely we wouldn't let him go out before the inbound was done, or there is no inbound!!! Scary

1. Quite possibly. 2. If I were a gambling man I'd bet he's far busier saying 'yes, yes, yes' on the training ground with his Valencia squad than he is with looking how we're shaping up in his chosen absence though.

I think you will find its "Si, Si, Si"

You're welcome !
