Is there ever anything you're happy about, or even remotely positive?

I bet you're a bundle of fun to be around on Christmas day.
But unfortunately I am accurate in my assessment, actually I am a bundle of fun, but I am realistic enough not to stick my head up my backside...
Pulis is a joke... I won't continue to discuss what I think about Peace.
Wembley 2015 could have been a possibility if Sherwood had been manager.

Stop yourself. He will keep us up and thats what he's been brought in for.
Stop myself, one supported Albion for 55 years, and Pulis is without doubt the worst manager I have ever known.
Did you not look at today's team sheet.
We had no chance, the man is a disaster.

A bit over the top mate.
In a way I have to agree with the original poster, my love for Albion started to die when Pulis was appointed.
Get him out....

I thin the decision to play Myhill was correct

TP was employed to keep us up, not to win the Cup, unfortunately , today it showed !
How sad is this comment....
You are really saying he has been employed to save Peace's paper fortune.
The cup matters to supporters, I don't care how much money Peace loses if we go down I want some success, for my team, that is what should really matter to supporters that really care.

Pulis is the sc*m of English football, all Albion supporters have known that for years.

If Sherwood had been our manager, we would be at Wembley

We got what we deserve, blame that idiot Pulis. Pulis the sc*m of English football

Clutching at straws, Pulis is manager and we are playing away...Boring sterile, embarrassing football, this is not our year.

Lets review what we actually saw today on a broader canvas. First, fitness, the Albion was the more fit team. This was clearly evidenced by the 50/50 balls. In the past those were often in the hands of the opposition. Today, the men had the energy to get after them and win more than their fair share.

Next, what I call the flex shape. The outside mids pressed forward to serve as wings when possible. When Southampton got the ball they collapsed back into their defensive shape. If you looked at Tony in the technical area he was constantly on about this important phase, the transition.

The leadership Fletcher showed throughout the match. He apparently takes his role as captain as one that is best served by showing the younger lads how much play off the ball matters. Did you notice our two forwards falling back to help dig the ball out? When have we seen this work load before Pulis arrived?

For me, the big take away is not the score line, but rather the team approach to the match. Every Albion player was "all in" and leaving nothing. We got exactly what we all demand, total participation and engagement.

Finally, the commentators that post dire comments here are simply afraid to be happy. When you've been thrashed endless times, its hard to recognize when prosperity rears its happy face. Lets have a snifter of cognac, put our feet up in front of the fire, and savor the victory. Tomorrow we can worry about Villa.

Interesting observation, but there are a number of Baggie fans who can't watch this Pulis football, the sooner he's gone the better.
And for your information I have been a supporter for 55 years plus.

Three points, bug deal, but another boring performance, I hate Pulis football, and really don't give a monkey's if we stay in the greed league.

JP for some reason is good at pulling a rabbit from his hat when needed

Do you mean with the appointments of Irvine, Clarke, De Matteo etc....

I think that the reality is that Peace was very aware how much relegation would personally cost, and was forced to change his acquisition ethos, spend realistic money and he then appointed Pulis, at a cost that he usually refuses to consider.  Nothing magical....

I would state that we may stay in the Premiership, but the cost to me as a supporter isn't worth the investment in a man who we all hated when he was at Stoke.

Why would anyone buy an away season ticket for next season......

That performance, of boring negative 'Anti football', just isn't for me, I would prefer relegation, an attacking young manager, and fun away days.

Being at the bottom end of the premier division isn't special enough. Avoiding relegation to watch that rubbish again next season, I ask what's the point.

I would have never appointed Pulis, but today, I am not going to discuss why Peace did, relegation could cost him millions, and that would put a smile on my face.

It will make my season when Peace finally sells up, all he has even wanted was to cash in his shares and move on. I will happily risk losing him, as I am positive that we could find a real Albion man to look after the club.

Peace an Albion supporter, I don't think so.

My worry though, even though he would never admit it, is that he will sell out to whoever offers the most cash.

Unfortunately, he will never find anyone to offer the kings ransom that he wants.

Sir Jack Haywood he isn't.....

Because there are none? Pulis is the Manager of the Year, no? He should be decent, but he isn't really just another one with a fixed idea and square peg sickness. And if we appoint someone from overseas the players don't want to know.
There are no other Managers, what are you talking about???

That is a similar panic substitution that Irvine was slated for....

Why is it so difficult for us to appoint a decent manager /coach..

Fletcher, a good free kick, then almost a good through ball...but  the whole performance of our team is totally pathetic.
It really has gone seriously wrong at the Hawthorns...

Only been once, and won't go again, horrible atmosphere, very intimidating.

If I remember, there was a lot of trouble in the return game, as our lads were  not to pleased with what went on, and retribution was sweet.

75
Maybe I am foolish, but I was under the impression that Peace would be backing Pullis with real cash, not scraps as is his usual method...

The cash never materialised, therefore the transfer window was a massive failure.

I do wonder if Pullis has had the wool pulled over his eyes, and what he is thinking this morning...
