How much longer before Pulis is shown the door.
The bloke is an embarrassment.

You have to ask why Albion ever employed this controversial player.

His performances are just not worth the issues.

Adds more excitement going forward and takes the ball to teams that we lack. Need that in a player that can actually make something from his play. I like Sess a lot and having dopey sods around him who can't attack to save their life doesn't help but until he starts creating and finishing chances he's a luxury.

excitement... this is a Pulis team, stop swearing.

I don't believe for one second that these performances are lucky unlike a minority he is a seasoned master at getting games to drag out and leave with points.

Did I just stick up for him  :D.

But is the price worth it.....

Can't believe how naive people are to believe Lukaku would have entertained the idea of signing a 5 year contract here, us paying anywhere near the £5m loan fee then a year later, the £28m transfer fee and £100k a week wages Everton have had to shell out.

I agree on the face of it thats a reasonable comment...but when you consider the money we have wasted on 3rd and 4th rate players, your argument loses it's validity.

Olson, brunt and Morrison are gods. Lukaku is a reminder what could have been if we had shown some fu*king gumption and bought him.

Excellent comment...

Used to be a home and away. fanatic, arranged holidays, wedding everything around the games, I've been to Hartlepool on a Tuesday night, and when we had a team worth watching, was in Europe when it was worth good, and I was so proud to be associated with the team.
Season ticket holder for well over 50 years, shareholder, for probably 30 years.
Now, under Pulis and Peace, I don't go....

I don't want any exposure from the TV companies with or without Pulis, Sod Sky & BT.

I couldn't agree more, we would be much better without the largesse from Sky or BT.

I can see no advantages at all, except to a greedy players and owners looking to cash in.

Can you blame the TV companies for not showing the dross that Pulis plays. It was embarrassing against Palace, I hope we have no further exposure until Pulis has gone....

Pulis's defence, was that we outplayed Villa, well big deal because Villa are as cr*p as us.
Palace are a decent team, the Chairman has invested in a decent manager, and has opened his chequebook and made investments in the team.
Peace panicked and bought in Pulis, but still wouldn't invest heavily enough in the team.
We are woeful, and we have no depth....
The players bought in during the close season are not up to scratch.
Blame Peace, but for goodness sake get rid of Pulis.

Maybe bringing him to the Hawthorns, had more to do with PR, that football. I wonder if he was ever going to be part of our first team set up.

Yet again the summer transfer period was disgraceful. I feel we are all taken for fools.

1. Chester - what does he offer?
2. Gardner - what does he offer?
3. Lambert - we know what he offers, why is he playing?
4. Rondon, he is going backwards - why?
5. Why set up to hold a 2-1 with 25 minutes to play?

I would like to hear TP's answers to these questions,.

Whilst the players do have some responsibility, THIS defeat can be laid squarely at TP's door IMO.

Can I offer No 6...Pulis - What does he offer?

He is totally to blame for lasts night debacle.....

I have previously said he deserves this season to establish his squad, I'm starting to wonder if his purchases and tactical gaffes will support this.

On the contrary, he has done a good job with Lescott / Evans / Saido / Fletcher

Each to their own don't you think ? ,  Bob Taylor was a hero to me growing up and always will be.

I Have known Bob for a very long time, and he is a great bloke, but he is no hero.

No footballer ever born is a hero, maybe for children, but certainly not for adults.

After 57 years of very regular attendance, over 50 as a season ticket and shareholder, I do not attend because of Pulis. I detested him and the football he played at Stoke, and I made a very hard decision, that I am not a hypocrite, and will stay away from the Hawthorns until he leaves.

Let's all look Stoke, all these attractive players they have but where are they ?

Bottom of the league.

Why don't we look at the cr*p that has been played this afternoon, it's definitely not football.... It's a total disgrace....

Just watched some of that cr*p on my computer, and the only positive I can see is that I took the decision not to step into the Hawthorns until Pulis has gone.
Utter drivel.....

West Bromwich Albion FC / Re: Have Tottenham ruined our season ?
« on: September 04, 2015, 11:12:05 AM »

I have to say that it's business, and today's football is an unscrupulous industry. Levy did what he had to do for his team, the same that Peace would do on behalf of his club.

If a queue of teams had come in for Berahino then it would have been different, they didn't, so maybe the figure of £25million is a dream, and Saido's real value is considerably less.

21
The problem is that the club can't afford to write off £20-25million. It's a very difficult situation, and I have to agree with an earlier comment, that if Spurs only offered £5m down then the club couldn't accept such a derisory offer.

The whole club is completely controlled by Peace, if you want to blame anyone, then he's the man.

And we get who in to replace him?

Anybody would be an improvement for me, as soon as Pulis goes, I can return to supporting my team.

the deal was agreed before the exclusivity period was agreed.

I'd say it's more to do with the fit and proper persons test perhaps. either that or them actually providing evidence they have the money in the first place.

A comment was made earlier about the decline in the Chinese stock market, I would suggest that is the real reason, the deal failed.

Ive been waiting for the JP detractors to say its because he won't get his money.

I would suggest it has nothing to do with that at all and is merely they couldn't backup their proposals with the club financially.

Is that another way of saying they didn't have the wherewithal to pay Peace his fortune.

We will never know, will we....
