I can imagine O’Brien is less than impressed with Forest after the cock up of his loan move in January as well.

Shame as he’s a good player, be a great pick up for a championship team I can see him ending up at Leeds on a loan with a buy clause attached.

From what I’ve heard, as many players who treat clubs horribly, clubs have done as bad in return. I used to be massively against players not honouring contracts when I was younger, but as I’ve got older I definitely  see both sides more.

I’m sure O’Brien earns good money, but it’s his life that’s being messed about too

We are all quick to judge players that try to force moves, but if you are in the industry and see players / friends bombed and forced out all the time it doesn’t breed loyalty.

Sounds like Val!

I actually think they would beat us if they play us though. We'd get caught napping on the ball at the back

I mean thats a little absurd 3 matches into a season after they won their opening match 4-0. Regardless of thoughts on Val, that’s unfair to any manager.

Stoke were keen on signing Aston Villa winger Jaden Philogene but Hull are now in talks over a permanent deal. Same scenario with free agent defender Axel Tuanzebe, who could now be joining Luton. #hullcity #hcfc #scfc

Also set to sign Glen Kamara from Rangers for £5.5m.

Incredible profit given he cost Rangers £50k.

Surprised he lasted this long into Howe's term as Newcastle boss. Don't know whether he's been injured but I'd have thought Ryan Fraser would have been first out of the door over the way he left Bournemouth during their relegation season with Howe in charge.

Can't remember what happened there. Was he on strike basically?

From what I remember essentially yes. Made himself unavailable for selection as he moved into the last few months of his contract. I imagine that would have left a very bitter taste in the mouth of a manager who'd played for Bournemouth through darker times, had to end his own playing career early and then led them up through the divisions as a manager.

Sure he said they'd met before Fraser left and had an amicable chat over coffee. Personally speaking if I were Eddie Howe I'd have turned Fraser's bag beans to jelly with a quick grab and a vice like squeeze before dropping the nut on him. I didn't finish my post graduate certificate in leadership and management. Found it very boring and not in keeping with my mindset  :-X .

Think Norwich and Leicester are going to be the teams to beat this season. Think Leeds under Daniel Farke and their new signings are going to push on also.

Wagner using his knowledge of the cheaper foreign market well just as he did at Huddersfield.

Cc lack of knowledge in that department and his willingness to accept the like of nc and ma based on their past reputations is his only weakness imo.

Oliver Burke returning to the Championship after ending his spell with Werder Bremen in Germany. Heard that QPR had looked at potential deal for the Scottish forward but now it all points to a free transfer switch to Birmingham #BCFC #birminghamcity #QPR
