For anyone still daring to dream, 6 results have gone our way this weekend, 3 haven’t.

I'll always dare to dream, it's all pointless otherwise. Season starts tomorrow  :D

Football turns so quickly. I thought he was doing a cracking job and they were playing well but unless it’s your own club you never really know the full details and what issues there may be.

Have seen a few bits and pieces where he’s been getting stick off his own supporters on social media , seems strange how quickly they’ve turned

It's the way of the modern fan. You only have to look at our lot.

I would rather have had a Warburton/Cooper up here in the summer than an Ismael..

I think the fan base would have been more receptive to them as well.

Give any fan some hope and expectations and if you can't deliver then it will only end one way for the manager.

I think QPR fans issues come down to goalscoring, they have 2 ageing forwards playing up front and haven't scored enough goals. Seems harsh on Warburton but they were hotly tipped in the summer, spent a little bit of money and for some reason they have gone off the rails the last few months.

There is a silver lining at the end of this!

Still backing Forest to join Bournemouth and Fulham as promotion trio.

I watched Huddersfield vs Luton last might.  Fairly turgid game but what stood out was the energy and team work.  Almost every forward got back and tackled.  I thought that Luton made a game of it and admire them for having one of the lowest budgets in the league and a ownership with a fan element and fan participation.

Huddersfield won but are very dour.  Their keeper has been booked 5 times this season for time wasting.
Luton have suffered a lot of injuries and had two more last night.  This forced them to bring on Snodgrass who was woeful.  His main contribution was to ball watch and let his man slip behind him and score.  He also skied a very decent chance into row X.

One aged player's pension fund that  we don't have to contribute to.  See, I told you there would be a silver lining.

Deja vu. The way he let runners go used to infuriate me. Not a natural central midfielder in the first instance and way past his best as a professional footballer.

Fulham beating Derby which means they go up tonight if it stays this way and Derby are down in all but goal difference.

If our squad had shown 50% of the desire, fight and determination that the Derby squad have, we’d be better off. Rooney has done a great job, although longer term I’m not sure i think he’ll be a particularly good manager you can’t fault what he’s done this season in the circumstances

Birmingham lost 6-1 away to Blackpool.

Our defeat to them still rankles with me - we were pathetic against a side who really are abysmal.

Credit to Rooney and the players. Fantastic effort despite the position they found themselves in.
