Albion and Brentford SHOULD win on Wednesday but if neither of us does and Fulham do then it’s Fulham who go up automatically on goal difference

If we both lose and fulham win they go up, but a draw would do it for us as theres a 16 goal difference swing.

Fulham’s goal difference is +16, ours is +32 and Brentford’s is +43 so it’s pretty much impossible for Fulham to be ahead of either of us on goal difference

Yes, but they won’t on goal difference if we draw and they win as was suggested in the earlier post.

Hoping Barnsley win today so they are still in with a chance on last game of the season against Brentford. Forest need a point to secure play-offs but are probably already there due to their superior GD.

Yes, if they are already doomed, they may throw in the towel versus Brentford. Forest look to be in Play Offs whatever happens.

Huddersfield saying they aren’t seeking applications tend to think that means they have the replacement lined up ready to go arguably a bit naughty ?

I am not entirely sure what anyone at Huddersfield was expecting. Now they are one ugly looking mess of a team (I know somehow we managed to lose to them) but they were that from the get go and at least the Cowley's had got a bit of discipline and shape to them. Just a very strange decision.

The Cowley Bros have kept them up playing the type of football you have derided in a recent post about Bilic.

Sounds like they've achieved their goal but the methodology was too unpalatable for the board and fans.

It's a decision some wanted us to take after comfortably reaching midtable in the PL.

Our manager curse strikes yet again...

It seems pretty much any result against us - win, lose or draw - is enough to lose you a job. :-X ;D

Huddersfield's board don't strike me as the sort to care about the style of football, as Stan alluded to in his post. Wagner played dull football in his time there ad well.

A job for Hughton or Pearson maybe? Hughton my guess.

Wagner got them promoted, big difference.

The job is now WELL below the 2 names you've mentioned, one of which was in a job at the time of the sacking.

Barnsley 1 Forest 0.

They'd have been relegated with any other result.

They now go to Brentford knowing a win and a defeat for Charlton (who are away to Leeds) and they will be safe. I hope we do the job ourselves but certainly will make things even more interesting.

Great result at Oakwell. Further convinced me that Forest won’t be coming up in the play offs, another team like us that has fell away post lockdown.

If we by some miracle beat QPR, Brentford vs Fulham should be an epic play off final. If Brentford go up automatic as I still expect, then Fulham have the play offs down up.

They would need Luton to fail to win as well and they are home to Blackburn who have nothing to play for.

Wigan will go down unless they beat Fulham I believe.

Huge result by Barnsley can they do it again v Brentford?
Charlton need a win also v Leeds (Leeds are already up so maybe they will get the result?)

Leeds deserved champions they had maintained 2 points a game
O Albion we love you
