Mulumbu linked with Swansea! Think they are a few years out with that one but, if they can get him back to anything like his best, they'll have a bargain. Probably still got more energy than our current two.

Quite interesting the Potter strategy of picking up "out of favour" players and getting them firing again, has come up with mulumbu. Maybe there is more left in Yousseff than we think?

Don't know about that he hardly pulled up trees at Norwich and Kilmarnock. We definitely had the best of him.

Apparently he was a revelation at Kilmarnock, nearly moved back to France in January on the back of his performances at Killy.

Agree nothing of note happened with Mulumbu at Norwich but he was exceptional for Kilmarnock.

I know it's all about levels but he did very, very well north of the border.

"He came up here to put himself back in the shop window and I think he's done that with his performances.

"That's been great for Youssouf and it's been great for Kilmarnock. I said to the supporters that they just had to enjoy him while he was here.

"And I imagine a bigger club will come in for Youssouf in the summer as he's a free transfer. If that happens, we wish him well.

Yes, there were rumoured to be problems behind the scenes too.

No idea what those problems were but he bit back in an online video or something when a Norwich supporter had a bit of a pop at him when he left.

Can't remember the exact details.

He broke a metatarsal in a friendly with Brentford at the very start of his career with them. Was behind Tettey, Howson and Dorrans for midfield role. Just wasn't very good, hence the drop in level to the SPL.

See a few comments saying Villa are weaker than last year. Hard to argue that now with Tammy Abraham on board. One of the best English strikers around, wanted by premier league clubs. Only reason Villa have him is due to the prem loan window closing to early for Chelsea to make the call.

Bolasie, Grealish, Chester, Kodija, Adomah, McGinn, Tuanzebe all good players at this level.

I put them up there with Leeds, Boro, Stoke as one of the top teams in the division.

Bruce might be their biggest problem.
