It’s a new season though. Last season means nothing now. There will be different approaches to games by all clubs. Maybe especially against the relegated clubs. I’m looking forward to seeing how we perform tomorrow. I haven’t for a long time. It has been too predictable for way too long. COYB. 👍🏼

Marcelo Bielsa, now that would have been an exciting, ambitious appointment of a manager who really understands the game and brings a clear footballing identity.

Plenty of pace and fluidity about Leeds today, could well be a threat.

Leeds will be brilliant for a while before burning out. The style of Bielsa is that it is extremely high tempo, I just don’t feel they’ll have the squad depth for it as the season goes on. You want to avoid playing them until Christmas ideally. Great appointment by Leeds though.

Another thing about the championship is that in the main its blood & thunder football - I don't get that we'll be able to play that way (or combat it) at least initially.

Tomorrow will be a good indication for us. Forest have invested quite abit in the summer, there fans will want to see they are serious about challenging for promotion, I expect them to try to take the game to us, that could work in our favour (if we learn to defend) as it would allow us space to counter in.

Hull were awful, to let Alan Hutton go on a mazey run past 3 or 4 is unforgivable.

Granted I haven't watched too much championship football the past 2/3 years, I watch the odd game here and there but don't watch the highlights show or anything as such.

What has shocked me is the standard of some of the teams/games.

The Derby game on Friday wasn't anything special from either teams, our game didn't really offer much. Leeds v Stoke again quality wasn't the best overall (Leeds played some decent stuff in periods) and last nights match also.
