After the Sunderland match, it’s no longer a 'title deciding game', so I would now expect them to drop the price to £5.

Weird to think he can use one weeks wages to pay for a full time chauffeur for his entire ban.

Big thumbs-up to Boaz too, was strong and confident when needed.

Best of luck to him, he must be looking forward to his call up.
Holding on to our young talent is my worry. I was lifted by the appearance of Isaiah Brown last season, and then look what happened.

Ideas above their station, far too soon to accept those jobs. Of the two I think Rodgers will be first.

No wonder we love him:-

One of our best signings in recent times.

Wrexham F.C.'s home kit is red and their badge has a dragon on it. Why didn't the silly sods buy them instead?

His name sounds like an old piece of cake, he should feel at home in the custard  bowl.

I've got all the games recorded, and, apart from Wolves away, I never get fed up watching the Newcastle game, and the winning goal still makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. (Thinking about it, that's the only place I've still got hair!)

I heard that after the game, on the way out, eight of their players tried to get through the revolving door at the same time and got completely stuck.

The moral is, don't put all your Basques in one exit.

Cannot believe how they edited that. Must have given the job to the work experience bod.

I'd assume that he's got a pretty stable, long-term job here, and I wouldn't have thought jumping on the 'managerial merry-go-round' was a good idea at the moment, but hey-ho, if true and he moves on, best wishes and good luck to him.

Henry Winter in The Telegraph,

"Nicky Shorey shone at left-back while City’s attackers found Jonas Olsson similarly difficult to elude at left-sided centre half. On the right of Roy Hodgson’s defence even more excellence could be found amongst two free transfers. Gareth McAuley, whose kit is sponsored by Truck & Trailer Services (Telford) Ltd, was pipped to the man-of-the-match honours by full-back Billy Jones, the face of Budget Furniture Direct. "

Love it.....

Petr Cech is out for 3-4 weeks with a knee injury, not sure who else they have apart from Hilario so that must be seen as a bit of a boost for us.

I remember last season when Cudicini replaced Gomez, and played out of his skin to deny us a win. It may well work against us.

"very exicited about the next 7-10 days at the baggies. If all falls into place then WOW!!!! Fingers crossed everyone"

Wouldn't it be funny if all he was talking about was a 2000 piece jigsaw that Boaz and him had started halfway through last season?

As Chris Kamara pointed out on Goals on Sunday, the goal should have been disallowed. Van Persie kicks Meite's foot which then pushes the ball over the line, so technically a foul and free kick.
