Saido Berahino has said he would jump at the chance to rejoin Albion.
Would you want him or any other ex player to come home.

I'm not sure on SB but would go for Tyler Roberts

West Bromwich Albion FC / Rondon v Benteke
« on: August 11, 2016, 10:11:34 PM »
With a lot of talk that we are looking to bring in Benteke & possibly let Rondon go would you be ok with this or not, please say why either way.

Me i think Benteke is a very good forward who scores with his head & feet & is a powerful runner but his weakest asset for me is he's not a team player & his work rate (closeing down & working the operation when they have the ball) is minimal .
Rondon will for me be a better player for having a season behind him & his strengths are Benteke weakness.
What do you think.

West Bromwich Albion FC / Be in the prem v Playing in the prem
« on: November 22, 2014, 02:40:36 PM »
having just seen todays squad v Chelsea my first thought was defending at all costs but i wasn't surprised either.

So my question is are you not bother what type of football you watched as long as we stayed in the prem or would you prefer to see the lads play a more open style of football & risk drop.

Me, I like to watch us when we're pressing the opposition for the ball also taking the game to them. In reality i would tell the players to let the worry about you than you worry about them.
We should do the unexpected, you can bet JM & all the Chelsea are ready & train every week for teams to park up the bus.
In short attack is the best form of defence 90% of the time & gets the blood flowing to.

"as the medals date from the club's successful 1920s period, I can see the lot achieving more towards the top end of its £500-800 estimate."

Come on JP it makes sense & would look great on display with the rest of our clubs history  :D

West Bromwich Albion FC / As a captain any value in todays game
« on: November 30, 2011, 10:30:31 PM »
Hi all after reading a resent post By Baggies were he said

"Because captaincy means little in reality. It is just a point for fans to get worked up over and comes from the English belief that you need a ferocious leader as captain (maybe rooted in the captain playing a real and not just ceremonil role in other English sports like cricket and Rugby). In football though, it is just an obssession.

I just wonderd how many more fans thought the same
I think a good captain is the king pin to a good squad & a happy dressing room & much much more,
