Fair play to that performance from those on the pitch. Can be proud of that no matter what.

Holgate up first ...

Do not understand that for the life of me. So much pressure on young shoulders. Bad call even if the player wanted too take it. One of the older heads should have said no, I'm having the 1st.

That penalty order was a shambles. Absolutely baffling.

Lads and fans gave it their all, shame Lai and Jenkins cant say the same. They are a disgrace.

Hopefully the end of the old guard but no doubt Mozza will extend his opton and Brunt will stay.

Don’t want to scapegoat but Brunt clearly cost us.

So much hope this season. Now we are into the unknown. Next appointment is massive.

Nothing much else to say.

The easiest chance we'll have to get to the Prem and we fluff it. The board are disgraceful.

They always let you down.

However very proud of that team tonight, ground was rocking and I thought that was by far our best performance of the season.

So what cost us?? Brunt?!

Or perhaps not getting another striker in when it was glaringly obvious or hiring a manager with no experience.

Brunt may have been silly tonight but three strikers (one being HRK) when you start with two is what cost us.

Pathetic blaming Brunt TBH. I've been a critic of his but the whole midfield is gash.

Villa outplayed us over 2 legs and deserved it.

Let's hope Leeds beat them as they finished 3rd not ******* 5th.

Brunt cost us big time tonight, we had them on the ropes 11 v 11. For a player of his expereince that should be the last we see of him tonight.
